From the top of the mountain I could see the city. I headed off back down the mountain until I came across a path. The Grimm's image flashed in my head again and I stopped walking momentarily, the human made wounds annoyed me greatly, why would you attack something if it has no intention of attacking you. It looked completely harmless too, it's beautiful white body and black and red eyes that let off an eerie glow.

I focused back on the path, at the incoming forest which would thankfully provide a nice place to stay out of the sun, heading into the forest reminded me off my home and gave off a warm feeling. The forest seemed somewhat endless and it was already heading into the night, I found a nearby tree and started gathering branches and leaves to cover over the bark for comfort.

I hopped up and lay across a branch looking up at what I could see of the stars and slowly dosed off with Laae by my side.

"I didn't mean anything by it, I'm sorry just let me go!"

"So you think apologizing just lets you off the hook?"

"I said sorry just please let me go."

"It's people like you who've ruined this world." The sentence was followed by a ripping sound as if a whip had pierced skin and at that moment I realized it wasn't a dream as the sound echoed through my eardrums, I sat up right in the tree, shaking my head to rid my blurred vision. I looked around, but couldn't see anything that stood out.

I hopped down from the tree, making sure my still mattered dress wouldn't tear or snag. With Laae in hand I scoped out the area, but still couldn't find anything. A sudden gust of wind blew around me startling me a little.

"looky looky at what we've got ere." My grip on Laae tightened incredibly as I turned to where the voice came from, but I was too slow. "Gotta be faster than that poppet." The voice continued. I started running in the direction of the city, but what stopped me was not one person but a gathering of people, some faunas, others that looked to be human.

"Is she with you huh?" A leader, one of which was a female and a fauna asked the quivering body on the ground as she looked between us.

"N, no I haven't seen her before." Another spine chilling sound went off and this time I was positive that it was a whip. The leader had a wide grin across her face.

"How dare you lie to me!" She shouted before bursting out in laughter. Another person had joined her in laughing, but not from the group in front of me, but from above. I looked up to see a rather dark skinned man sitting upon a branch looking down at me, his tail swishing ever so slighting beside me and his ears blended slightly in comparison to his brown hair. He was wearing what looked to be white body armour and black trousers, his laughing seemed a little forced.

"He wasn't lying to you, I don't know who he is, but regardless of that, there is no reason to hit this person with your barbaric excuse for a weapon" Is what I would've said if the guy who previously sat up above me wasn't currently preventing me from talking, with his finger pressed upon my lips.

"Listen ere poppet, you say one wrong thin' and you'll 'nd up like this fella down ere." he whispered into my ear.

"Don't even try running, Zipper's semblance is speed he can stop you before you even make a move." The leader laughed a little more after saying it. I bit down hard into Zipper's finger in which he was previously using to silence me.

"Oh good that saves me wasting my time thanks for the heads up." I added very quickly as I tried to continue walking, but to no avail as Zipper was instantly in front of me again, go figured.

"Oi poppet, you ain't thinking of 'eading out are ya." He smirked as he clicked his knuckles. His actions seemed very confusing, I wasn't sure if he wanted to hurt me or to leave with me.

"Oh how daring, did you think I was joking, or do you not know what a semblance is you unintelligent swine." She whipped the person on the ground a third time and smiled up at me. "This one's your fault you know." It finally dawned on me how twisted she was as a person to hurt someone because of someone else's actions.

"Why did you whip them a third time if it wasn't even their fault!." I shouted at her, a look of horror upon my face.

"Because, life isn't fair." She began cackling with laughter.

"You evil, malicious bitc..." I was cut off by Zipper's hand, but she still heard and as she approached I felt Zipper start to shake. She ripped him away from me and readied her whip, she swung to me left and I dodge rolled out of the way, making sure Laae wasn't under me.

She struck again narrowly missing my head, I stood up fast and blocked her next attack using Laae, her whip spun around Laae, she pulled back hard taking Laae from my grasp.

"It was nice knowin' ya poppet."

I jumped as her whip hit the ground below me, this wasn't over yet. I took to the trees hoping to take back Laae. As I moved from branch to branch her whip curled around one of the one's in front of me and with her brute force she snapped it in half. I fell to the ground along with the branch and was momentarily stunned.

"You pathetic human, you're all the same." she caught hold of my ankle with her whip and started dragging me closer. "You're done for." She continued, but I wasn't focused on her I was focused on how close Laae was. Just close enough for me to get up, grab her and try and make it out of here alive.
