"The robbery was lead by nefarious criminal Roman Torchwick who continues to evade authorities, if you have any information on his whereabouts please contact the vale police department.." At first I was lost, but it only took me a few seconds to remember the white clothed guy. Well at least I can match a name to his face now.

"In other news this Saturday's fauna civil rights protest turns dark, when members of the white fang disrupted the ceremony. The once peaceful organization has now disrupted.." I pouted at the sound of the broadcast turning off eager to hear the rest of it.

"Hello and welcome to Beacon. My name is Glynda Goodwitch, you are among the privileged few who have received the honer of being selected to attend this predigest academy. Our world is experiencing an incredible time of peace and as future huntsman and huntresses it is your duty to uphold it. you have demonstrated the courage needed for such a task and now it is our turn to provide you with the knowledge and the training to protect our world."

I sighed and walked over to one of the windows and looked out over all the buildings, everything seemed so much smaller from up here. Suddenly a red and black figure appeared beside me and on the other side of her a yellow and brown one. I looked at her briefly before turning to walk away, hoping she wouldn't notice me. Besides the fact that I had new clothes, my face has always been easily recognized.

I studied my new clothes not so sure that they suited me. With the money the headmaster gave me I brought a light blue right sleeved tube top, a dark blue sleeveless jacket to go over the tube top. A gray iron plated skirt and black dragon leggings to go under it. I sighed once again and looked back up just in time to see a blonde haired boy race past me covering his mouth.

"How.. lovely." I mumbled as I exited the gigantic ship we flew over in figuring he has motion sickness. Forget what I said about the houses and shops in Vale being amazing and fancy. Beacon looked like a futuristic castle, which just happens to be in the middle of no where. What I want to know is where they found all the money to build it, or let me guess it's all made of dust. Wait I don't think that's possible.

"What are you doing!" I snapped out of my daze and realized I was still standing where the ship had dropped us off, in front of me was the same red cloaked girl and a new princess looking girl in white. She started shaking a bottle violently at the red cloak, it wasn't long after she stopped shaking it that there was an explosion. I took that as my chance to run past without getting held up in whatever was going on and caught up to everyone else.

"I'll keep this brief, you have travelled here today in search of knowledge to hone your craft and acquire new skills and when you have finished you plan to dedicate your life to the protection of the people, but I look among you and all I see is wasted energy, in need of purpose, direction. You assume knowledge will free you of this, but your time at this school will prove that knowledge can only carry you so far. It is up to you to take to first step."

"You will gather in the ballroom tonight, tomorrow your initiation begins, be ready. You're dismissed."

"Well that was utterly cheerful. "Today I was considered wasted energy and tomorrow I might die." I whispered as I followed everyone else to the ballroom.

It seemed like we where supposed to be spending the night here which would explain all of the girls in pajamas as well as all the half naked guys. I went into what I'm hoping is a bathroom, took off my jacket and swapped my skirt and leggings to my dads old shorts and carried my things out to where I was assigned to sleep.

"Hey, I'm Cardin Winchester." I looked the tall boy up and down and remembered seeing him in his armour at the briefing, he held his hand out for me to shake.

"Eden." I put my things on the ground and shook his hand curiously.

"Afraid to let your hair down." He smirked at me playfully. Of course someone was going to make that remark, but I didn't expect it to be so soon.

"It should be you who's afraid if my hair is ever down." He smiled delightedly, but it came off somewhat taunting.

"And why's that?" He questioned. In a fluid motion I pulled Laae from my hair and set her into stage three. The tip of her battle axe spike was mere inches away from Cardin's face.

"Because when my hair's down, my weapon is out and she doesn't like to be starved." I said, half joking and half venomously. He chuckled before placing his finger on Laae's head and pushing her away.

"Easy tiger." He continued chuckling as he walked away. I twirled Laae back into a hairpin and stuck her back in my hair. I huffed slightly annoyed as I got my things ready for tomorrow and got into bed.

Tomorrow was going to be a long day.
