Chapter 5.

The sky glowed a soft orange colour and the pink tinted clouds flew past slowly, my wounds were now encased in dried blood, but still hurt severely. Him on the other hand, his wounds seem to still be defrosting.

I start biting my cheek before I stand trying to ignore the searing pain. I look around for any water source, to the right about one hundred meters seems to be an incline, which would be the best place to start looking.

As I grew closer to the incline the blood patches in the grass became less and less until they were nonexistent. I mentally cheered at the site of a rather large clear water pond, completely empty of fish and ducks. I kneeled down beside the pond and took off the dress, glad to be just in my shorts, still with the cloth bandage around my chest. I slowly eased myself into the water, taking the dress in with me, I studied the hole in the dress, nothing that couldn't be fixed later on but I might as well try my best to get the blood out of it.

I shoved the dress further into the water, down past my toes and massaged the red splotches until most of the blood was out. I got out of the water taking the dress with me and laid it out on the grass to dry before I hopped back into the water.

I clenched my fist, the cold pond water stinging my minor wounds. I sat up and looked down to my gut not sure how serious the injury, regardless I started rubbing off the dried blood. I smiled and lent back fully into the water glad that my wounds had healed a little over night. I unraveled the cloth around my chest and stretched it out in the water.

"This could work, I just need to find.." I looked around for Laae then remembered leaving her near the guy. I got back out of the water and placed the cloth on the ground near the dress I covered my breasts with my arm and followed the blood trail back to the him.

His wounds would be defrosted in no time so I had to make this quick. I grabbed Laae shrinking her down to her hairpin size and ran back to the cloth using Laae to cut it in half and wrapping it around my wound. I put the dress on quickly and ran back, kneeling down beside him. I placed one end off the cloth on the far side of him and pushed him onto his back so that I could fully wrap his wound.

I wasn't a doctor, but it didn't seem like there was any near by so this would just have to do. While waiting for him to regain conciseness I went back and put on my dress. The first thing he did was cough up blood. The second was giving me a surprised look.

"Why didn't you kill me?"

"Because you didn't kill me."

"I tried!" He spat blood with his words. I turned my head a bit looking down at him. I'm not quite sure he was trying.

"And you failed." I replied calmly. "Plus I don't know where we are and I was counting on you to get me to the city."

"Now why would I do that?" he chuckled, I held out Laae extending her to arrow length in my hand and stabbing in between his fingers.

"Because I could make your death last."

"I dealt you would do anything of the sort, you're too much of a girl." I clenched my teeth at his words.

"Oh really, would you care to show such proof."

"You cleaned yourself up, you didn't kill me when you had the chance. You're weak and afraid of blood shed." I held Laae to his neck.

"I assure you that I'm not weak, nor am I afraid." I removed Laae from his neck and stabbed him in the hand, twisting her then pulling her out. He tried his best to hold back his scream, but after I twisted Laae he couldn't help but let it out.

"Now unless you want me to drag you I suggest you get up and start walking." He glared at me and slowly started to rise off the ground, I kicked him back down. "Faster."

I took lead, walking at a fast pace. "I said faster." I turned to see him a couple meters back, he picked up his pace until he was beside me.

"And we might as well finish of the Grimm while we're here."

I glanced up at the mountain, it didn't seem like it'd be a long hike. I pushed him ahead of me. "Run" He glared at me once again, but started running up in front of me. I clutched my side and ran up after him a little more out of breathe then normal.

"So why exactly does the Grimm need to be killed anyway." I shouted after him.

"What kind of question is that? It's a Grimm, hence the name."

"I didn't even know it existed until you mentioned it, so what harm has it done?"

"Destroyed my village!" He shouted back to me. I started running faster and faster up the mountain, passing him on my way.

"Well are you coming or not?"

We reached the base of the cave within record time and I studied the entrance. The Grimm had to be pretty big. I turned around to look at the guy, but he just nodded for me to continue. I walked in, the light was vanishing from around me quickly and I was soon engulfed in darkness; until two glowing red eyes flicked open. It looked at me, just staring like it wasn't going to attack me. I watched it turn around, flicking it's tail. upon his tail was a huge gash, a man made one.

Shock filled my face, I had been lied too, the beautiful Grimm dragon in front of me was the prey not the predator,not an enemy of mine, it seemed we where on the same side. I should've seen it coming, this guy was shady right from the start. I started walking back out after I had calmed the Grimm down a bit, the light warming up my feet.

"She's strong. If she kills the Grimm or not she should still be trained. Yes I know that under the circumstances, but."

"What do you mean 'trained'!" I shouted at him after emerging from the cave's mouth.

"She's back." I held out Laae and extended her, walking forward slowly.

"What do you mean, 'Trained" I spat.

"Listen Sweetheart, a girl like you is too dangerous wild, we need to tame you."

"Tame? You don't tame something wild, you set it loose and hope it doesn't kill you and since when do you call me sweetheart!"

"Well aren't you all fancy, will you just be a good girl and cooperate?" He responded. I took another step forward with Laae in my hand ready to kill. I was in no mood for this at all.

"You know I didn't need your help to find the city, I only brought you with me because I pitted you, you worthless piece of shit." I had spotted the edge of what seemed to be a city when I was cleaning my wounds earlier.

"I was only going easy on you last time little girl, don't push me." I knew it, but I was in no mood to lose an argument.

"Easy? What a joke, you didn't even have enough energy to outlast me. " I walked towards him in big strides, readying my weapon.

"You heard that boss, this ones a keeper." I lunged forward towards him swinging Laae around my head and stabbing him straight in his gut, I pulled her out and reached down towards his phone that he dropped only a few moments ago.

"I hope this wasn't one of your strongest men, you're going to need to send more if you want to 'train me'." I hissed.

"Oh how foolish of you, to not even know about the tracking device in your dress. He was weak, I will admit it, but you, you are as strong as the rest, if not stronger."

"Flattery won't get you anywhere." I dropped the phone to the ground and stabbed it twice to be safe. I wasn't going to listen to him and even if there was a tracking device in my dress, where I'm going, he won't be able to get me.

I picked up the lifeless body, carrying him over my shoulder, I walked with him back into the cave, up to the dragon and dumped his body onto the ground. "I really hope they don't trouble you again." The dragon looked at me with his head tilted before nodding his understanding, I rubbed his head out of impulse and with that I left.
