Chapter 20

-Cue Weird Dream-
Emiko stares at the three doors that stand in front of her. Suddenly a soft yet deep voice begins speaking, "Choose any door you please." "Where do they lead?" "That's a surprise, but I can tell you that each are an end. There is a Happy Ending, a Neutral Ending, and a Bad Ending. Be careful on which one you get." She blankly stares at the doors, "How the hell am I supposed to be careful if I don't know where the damn doors lead!" The voice chuckles, "My my, you have quite the attitude. I told you already that the doors were a surprise." "Then what the hell is the point in telling me to be careful about my choice!" "It should be a gut feeling you get! Don't question me, woman! Just choose a damn door." "Fine fine, keep your pants on." Emi walks to the door on the right and puts her hand on the handle, "Welp, I'm going in!" She opens the door and enters the room. The door disappears and she is left in a pitch black room, "Huh? Where am I? Don't tell me, I got the Bad Ending." The voice cackles, "You did, Idiot." "Rude. But wait is pitch black the bad ending?" "Take a closer look." Suddenly the room changes into an alleyway which was getting wet by rain. The raindrops bounced off trashcans, they also stained her clothes. "What am I supposed to be se---" To her horror there were dead bodies on the ground, the blood was slowly pooling together almost making a puddle. Her eyes follow up the alleyway to a smiling figure, "I told you three, you were all too weak. And now I've wasted my time with you all." Her words get caught in her throat. "Hm? There's still one person left. I'll have take care of that." The smiling person starts walking towards her. She is glued to her spot, so stricken with fear she is unable to move. The person is getting closer and closer till he was just inches away from her, "You're involving yourself in something that doesn't concern you again, Emiko. Didn't I tell you'd regret it?" Her words are finally able to escape, "K-K-Kamui, what did you do?" "They claimed to be strong so I fought them. You should've seen how easy it was to cut them down." "No I'm glad I didn't see that." His head tilts the disturbing smile still on his face, "I wonder what kind of fight you'll put up." "Um none, I don't think it's necessary to fight." "But you were so eager that day." Emi replays the first time she got into a fist fight with Kamui, "I wasn't eager at all! I was uh playing around! Don't you play around?" "Of course I play around especially with certain toys like your emotions." Her left eye begins to twitch, "Come again?" "Your pitiful emotions are so fun to play with." "Oh okay... I see how it is, if I remember correctly you like girls who punch you." Emi clenches her fist, about ready to punch him when she stops, "Oh no no no! I am not falling for that trap at all. You're trying to irk me into punching you so you have a reason to hit me!" "You catch on so quickly. So amazing for the girl I chose." Emi sticks her tongue out at him, "Meh! Girl you picked! I feel like I was somehow tricked into this relationship!" Kamui takes her chin and smiles even wider, "Did I trick you? If I remember correctly you said you were in love with me." Emi blushes, "Shaddup!!! I have no idea how this is a Bad Ending!" Kamui chuckles, "Because your end is near." "Wait Kamui! What are going to do?" "What I do best, my dear little human." Emi stares at him in disbelief, "You're going to kill me? Kamui what happened to not killing women!" "To me you are not a woman, but my plaything. So shut up and face your end."

Emi's eyes quickly open as she looks around, "Holy crap that was scary.." She looks around the ship and sees the sleeping passengers. With a sigh of relief she unbuckles her seatbelt and stands up. "Gotta pee...." She quietly walks to the restroom, while she was washing her hands she hears a scream. Emi looks at the door and slowly opens it. She sees a man with a sword just barking commands, "Listen up! I'm taking control of this ship! If anyone tries to retaliate then I'll start killing people! Is that understood?" The now awake passengers nod their heads. Emi quietly closes the door and puts her back against it. ~I wanted a vacation from killers! Ugh what to do! Wait I think Sougo said something about this! He said if the enemies back is facing towards you then slowly walk up behind them and then put your hands over their eyes and slam them down. That's right! I'll do that right now!~ Emi sneaks out of the restroom and creeps up on the man. Standing on one of the seats, she puts her hand over his eyes and slams him down. Then she proceeds to trap him with his own sword, "Ugh... What the hell!" "I wouldn't move if I were you. Just one little movement will lead to you cutting your own throat." "How the hell did you get me!" "You can thank the Shinsengumi for that!" Ten minutes later the ship lands and the man is arrested. The passengers applauded Emi as she walks off the ship, "Um you guys don't need to applaud me. I just did what was right..." The passengers smiles and walk off, "Haaaahhh, well now I can go on my vacation without worry.... RELAXING HOT SPRINGS HERE I COME!!!" Emi grabs her bags and starts to run, hoping to find the closest inn with a hot springs.
