After 10 minutes of hugging, Gintoki finally releases her. Emi giggles, "Thanks for that hug.. In a way it made me feel better, even though that stuff happened long ago!" Gintoki pats her head. "Ow ow ow!! My head is still sore!" "Sorry sorry, but I think you should call the Gorilla over here." "What!? Why?!?!" Gintoki sighs an shakes his head, "Em, if you were to die, who do you think would be the first person here? Obviously your family which is those idiots." ~Em? Did Gintoki give me a nickname??~ "You're right Toki... But please don't call Isao-Chan!! I can't give him a heart attack.." Gintoki smirks and stands up, "I know exactly who I'll call." Gintoki leaves the room, leaving an air of confusion with Emi, "Why do I have a bad feeling..."

Emi's left eye twitches with frustration, "I was right to have a bad feeling..." Yamazaki stands there awkwardly as Sougo evilly grins. Gintoki crosses his arms and chuckles, "Look I called Yamazaki, but he brought along a parasite called Souchiro." "It's Sougo, Boss." "Yeah yeah, whatever." Yamazaki bows repeatedly, "I'm so sorry, Emi! The Captain wouldn't let me leave unless I told him why and then when he found out, he was very insistent on coming along... And I now realize he only wanted to come to make fun of you..." Emi softly smiles, "Don't worry Yamazaki-San! I know you meant well, but he on the other hand does not." Sougo sits on the bed and pinched her nose, "I mean very well. Can't you tell? I came here to see how dead you were." Emi grabs his hand and pushes it away, "Gee, I can tell how much you really care." "Emi would you like anything special to eat or drink? I don't mind going to get it for you." "I would like some pretzels!" "Then I'll get those right away!" "Thank you, Yamazaki-San!" Yamazaki leaves the room. Gintoki picks his nose and sits on the end of the bed. "Boss don't you have somewhere to be?" Gintoki looks at the clock on the wall and shakes his head, "It's only 10 in the morning, I don't gamble till 12." Emi lets out a small giggle, "Hehe, you have a schedule for gambling? That's weird Toki!" Gintoki turns to look at her and laughs. He makes eye contact with Sougo and nods his head. He stands up and yawns, "Well I'm going to head out! Em, we'll come visit you soon. So when we do, please make us some delicious food." "I will! So please visit soon!" Gintoki smiles and leaves the room.

"So you wanna tell me why you are in the hospital? Or why you were admitted to the hospital at 3:30 this morning?" Emi looks at her hands and sighs, "I went for a very late night swim and didn't judge my jump right. So I ended up hitting my head on some rocks. Sorry for worrying you..." Sougo relaxes himself right next to her and puts his hands behind his head. "What bothers me the most is that you didn't call any of us first." "I'm sorry... I didn't want to worry any of you.." Sougo lightly bumps her head, "Worry us? Who the hell cares about that? Worry us all you want! We're family and that's what family is for. You're lucky I didn't tell Kondo-San you are in the hospital." "Thank you for not telling Isao-Chan... And thank you for coming, Sougo.." He rolls his eyes and slips on his eye mask, "Yeah yeah, now shut up and let me sleep." "Did you come here just to skip out of work!?" "I didn't say that, you did." Emi pinches his side, "You're an idiot!" "Agh! Dammit woman, I'm trying to sleep!" "I don't care! Get out of my bed!" Emi pinches him again, Sougo finally had enough and pinches her back. They go back and forth pinching each other. Yamazaki opens the door and walks in, "I'm back! They only had lightly salted pretzels so I hope you don't mi--- Captain!! Emi is hurt, don't make it worse!!" Emi stops for a split second and is pushed off the bed. "Ah! Emi, I got you!" Sougo tries to grab her but misses completely, so Yamazaki slides in and cushions her fall. "Oomph...that knocked a bit more air out than I thought it would..." "Oh no! Yamazaki-San are you okay?!" "Nice catch Yamazaki. I'm surprised her fat ass didn't kill you." Emi glares at Sougo and Yamazaki chuckles, "Don't worry Emi! I'm perfectly fine, my stomach has taken much worse." "Like your awful diet?" "Yeah like my awful di-- Hey wait a second!! The Vice Chief has the worst diet!" Sougo nods his head in agreement, "He's got a point. Hijikata-San does have a nasty diet. Mayonnaise on top of mayonnaise? That's just awful." Emi giggles, "Somewhere in this town, Hijikata is sneezing like a madman." Yamazaki smiles, "Poor Vice Chief." "Maybe he'll die from a sneezing attack." Emi and Yamazaki both stare at Sougo. "What? A man can dream." By 2 in the afternoon, Emi is finally released from the hospital. Yamazaki and Sougo walk her out. "Do you want one of us to walk you home, Klutz?" "No thanks, Sadistic Prince. I'm okay to walk home by myself." Yamazaki hands her, her bag, "Please be careful getting home then. If I find out you get hurt or get in a fight on your way home then I'll kick your butt." "Hm, Yamazaki-San is threatening me... Maybe the world is going to end." Sougo pats Yamazaki's back and chuckles, "Well look at Yamazaki being a big man. But same goes for me, if you get into a fight on your way home then I'll kick your ass." Emi grimaces, "That doesn't sound good at all... You'll probably do something way worse!" Sougo sadistically grins, "That might be the case..." A shiver runs down her spine, "I promise I won't get into any fights on my way home! And I promise I won't get hurt in my way home." Yamazaki smiles, "Good!" "Hey don't be a goody two shoes, I want to punish someone." Emi sticks out her tongue, "Too bad!!"
