Chapter 25

Emi leaves the headquarters first and Sougo follows behind her. Every time she turned a corner, Sougo would see a boy following right behind her. This starts to annoy him, so the next time he sees the boy, he grabs him by the back of the kimono. "Huh?! Le-let go of me!" Emi turns around and smiles triumphantly, "Finally the stalker was apprehended!" "St-stalker?!" Sougo sadistically smiles, "I wonder what kind of punishment I should give a stalker? Especially for stalking my little sister, what kind of punishment would be appropriate." Emi smiles as the boy tries to wiggle his way out of Sougo's grip, "I'm not a st-stalker! I-I-I just like staring at her and I-I-I was going to a-ask her out!" "You like staring at." "Me?" "Y-yeah...." Sougo smirks, "That's not a reason to date my sister. Especially if you've been following her around." "Wh-what are you going to do?!" "Something very fun!"

"Maybe we shouldn't have had taken his clothes......" "It's fine, he still has his underwear." Emi lets out a small giggle as she takes Sougo's hand, "It's such a good thing that I have such a dependable Onii-Chan!" "Yep the most dependable big brother ever." "Hey Sougo, I have a question?" "What?" "Why did we tie him to a telephone pole and not a tree?" "Because there were no trees around. Why do you have to question my methods?" "Why are such a big Sadist?" "Only the universe can answer that." Emi laughs, "Well I hope the underworld will answer soon." "I said universe." "Yeah yeah." Sougo smiles, "If you ever get a boyfriend, bring him to me. We'll have a nice chat." "Yes sir!"

"Oooohhhh, Sougo are you perhaps upset because I haven't brought my boyfriend to meet any of you." Sougo puts his hands on the table, "This unexpected news made Kondo-San faint. Of course we're going to be upset. And apparently this guy proposed to you!" Kondo sits up but faints again after hearing the word proposed. Hijikata throws his hands up in agitation, "Stop saying that word!" Emi sighs, "So in order to fix this mess, what should I do?" "We have to meet him!" Hijikata grabs a pen and starts writing something down. He hands the paper to Emi, "Here we will meet at this place! No ifs, ands, or buts! And bring the guy!" "Wait?! Tonight!" "Yes tonight! No ifs, ands, or buts!" Emi stands there flabbergasted. ~Oh no!! What am I going to do!~

Emi walks inside and sighs, still unsure what to do about Kamui. "Emi.... Emi... Emiko... EMIKO!" She snaps out of her daze and looks at Kamui, "Oh hello." "Don't oh hello me! You went to work at 9 and now it's 11 in the morning the next day!" "I'm sorry, I ran into a little trouble on the way home." Kamui wraps his arms around her and sighs, "I'm going to have to steal you away in order to keep you out of trouble." "But Kamui, you also get into a lot of trouble." "Then I guess we'll run away together and get in trouble together!" Emi sighs, "Well guess what... We're in big trouble now." "Huh? Why?" "Because they want to meet you...." "Who wants to meet me?" "My family...." Kamui tilts his head, "For real?"

Emi and Kamui sit at a table, Emi is clearly nervous. Kamui tries to loosen the bandages around his face. "Kamui, stop messing around with the bandages! It's keeping your face hidden." "But Emi, it's really hot under all these." "You said you were used to it!" "I know but that was only to shut you up!!" Emi kisses Kamui's lip through the bandages, "You could've kissed me to shut me up." He places a hand on her cheek and chuckles, "Alright you win this round... Only because of that kiss." Before they could kiss one more time, the door is opened and three men walk in. Emi stares at them as one of them has trouble sitting down, "Isao-Chan... It was inevitable, I was going to get a boyfriend." Sougo rests his head on his hands, "Why is his face covered?" "H-he got into an accident so now his face is messed up.... But I love him, face messed up and all!" Kondo starts to get emotional, "Emi that's so wonderful to say!" "Haaaaahhh, Kondo-San just ask the question you wanted to ask or else Sougo will do it. And we both know he won't be nice about it." "You're right, Toshi.... Emi what is your boyfriends name?" Before she could speak up, Kamui opens his mouth, "Kamui. My name is Kamui." "Oh so the Mummy can speak." "Sougo be nice." "So Kamui, do you really love Emi or are you just using her?" Emi looks at Kondo, who asked the most unexpected question. Kamui nods his head, "I love Emiko very much. She's a good cook, a very cute kisser. But she has her faults. She gets into a lot of trouble, gets hurt a lot, likes to pick a lot of fits, and she is sometimes really unappealing. But through all that, I really love her!" Emi smiles brightly as she takes Kamui's hand, "You see now? I'm very happy with Kamui even though he has a weird way of doing things!" "Like proposing?" Kondo stands up, "Oh yeah! You proposed to Emi!" "I did because I don't want to be separated from her. She said yes which means she wants to be with me." Kamui looks at Emi, who is giving him a certain look that makes him sigh, "Aaanndd I wish to know if I had permission to marry your daughter/sister." Hijikata nods his head, "Well the fact that you asked us permission just means you really want to be with her." "I don't know, Hijikata-San.. Let me fight him to see if he's really worthy." Emi suddenly grabs Kamui and kisses him. Everyone but Sougo turns away in embarrassment. Kamui puts a hand on her back and moves the bandage to uncover his mouth. After a minute they separate and the two turn back around. "So um what do you guys say about his proposal?" "Emi, I don't mind it at all. If it makes you happy then it'll make us happy. Just promise not to forget about us." "Isao-Chan..... That could never ever happen, you big dummy!" After a good night of eating and socializing, Emi and Kamui went home. "Ohhh Emi..." She looks at Kamui and smiles, "What's wrong?" He quickly kisses her, "Nothing!" Emi grabs his hand and pushes him onto the futon. Making sure she landed right on top of him, "I'm so round of you! You made it through the night without getting into a fight with Sougo!" "Maybe I should get a reward then?" "Maybe you should get a reward." Kamui puts his hands on the small of her back and Emi leans over and kisses him, "What would you like?" "You." The two spend a wondrous night together, completely taking in each other's presence.
