Emi looks at her guests and tilts her head, "They're guests... Haven't you ever had guests before?" Kamui looks at the table and looks back up at Emi. An irritated smile spreads across his face, "That's not the point, Emi. You brought my prey and annoying sister into the house I sleep at. How am I supposed to sleep now?" Emi stares at him, "Trust me, you'll sleep perfectly fine." Kamui sits across from the two Odd Jobs and crosses his arms. Gintoki takes a bite of his food, completely uninterested in Kamui's attitude. Kagura starts eating as well not caring about her brothers presence at all. Emi sits down next to Kamui and claps her hands together, "This is very fun, no? Because if this isn't and you idiots start a fight in my house then I'll kill you all myself." Gintoki chuckles, "I bet Hijikata will love cleaning up after that mess." "No trust me, I'll clean it all up and hide your bodies in the biggest fiery ditch I can find." Kagura swallows her food and laughs, "I bet you're real popular with boys." "Only with the ones that are trying to fight." Kamui looks at Emi and tilts his head, "You popular? Is that supposed to be a joke?" Emi clenches her fist and holds it close to his face, "Kamui are you trying to start a fight?" Kamui smiles, "Emi what happened the last time we got into a fight?" "You broke my damn wall!" Kamui tilts his head, "Did I? Are you sure that wasn't you?" Emi slams her hands onto the table, "Of course it wasn't me, idiot! I'd have to have like super strength to be able to punch a hole that big!" "You're pretty strong. I'm pretty sure if you trained hard enough you'd make a perfect criminal." Kagura stops eating and stares at Kamui, "Not everyone wants to be a criminal like you. Emi-Chan, don't let Baka Nii-Chan corrupt you-aru." "I won't.. Thank you for the concern." Gintoki drops his fork and watches Kamui eat, "Now I know where Kagura got her appetite from." Emi smiles and pets the side of Kamui's head, "He really does eat a lot. And when I mean a lot, I mean a lot." Kamui pushes his empty bowl away and pats his stomach, "Just like usual, her meals are the best!" "Maybe if you ate it more slowly, you could enjoy it a bit more." Kamui tenderly grabs her hand and a soft smiles spreads across his face, "Well that doesn't matter... Because you'll always make me more food, right?" Emi giggles, "Of course I will." Kagura looks at her brother in both shock and disgust, "Baka Nii-Chan is smiling for real! It's so gross but it makes me happy for some reason-aru." "Kagura don't get me wrong, I have not changed one bit. But if my actions will put any harm towards her then I will gladly be soft while around her." Kagura turns her head away and puts a hand to her mouth, "It's so disgusting!" Gintoki finishes off his food, and sighs with relief, "Phew, now I feel good. You should cook for us more often." "I'll definitely try! Just tell me some food you'd like to eat." "Strawberry Parfaits!" "Doesn't matter as long as it's food-aru!" "Your delicious rice balls!" Emi looks at Kamui, "Why are you chiming in?" Kamui hugs her and laughs, "Because it's food!" Kagura rolls her eyes, "He's being disgusting again-aru!" Gintoki uninterestingly picks his nose and flicks it across the room, "Well me and Kagura should get going. Let's go, Kagura. I think the lovebirds need sometime alone. Ah and Emi, I would think long and hard on how you're supposed to tell the Tax Thieves." Emi sits there flabbergasted, "AUDIBLE GASP! I never thought about how I was supposed to tell them." Kamui tilts his head, "Why would you need to tell anyone anything?" "Because that's her family. You always tell family these kinds of things." Emi puts her face against the table, "I can't believe I never thought about that...." Kagura and Gintoki stand up and heads to the door, "Em, I suggest you decide how you're going to tell those Tax thieves that you're dating a criminal." After saying that, they leave. Kamui looks at Emi who now looks as if her soul was leaving her body. He pets her head, "I'm pretty sure you'll find a way to tell these people about us." Emi's soul returns to her body and she sits up, "Yeah, you're right.. Thank you, Kamui."

As Emi is walking home from work she accidentally bumps into someone, "Oops, I'm sorry. Guess I wasn't looking where I was going." The man looks at Emi and squints his eyes, "Are ya tryin' to pick a fight?" "Great, he's drunk." "Oi! I'm askin' ya a question! Are ya tryin' to pick a fight!" Emi puts her hands up and shakes her head, "No sir, I'm not trying to pick a fight." The man grabs the front of Emi's kimono, "Don't give me any sass!" Emi's patience starts to wear thin, "Sir, I suggest you let me go right now. Or else there will be consequences." "What can a girly like you do?" Emi grabs his arm and then using her heel, she kicks his shin. The man releases her and falls on his ass. He clutches his shin and starts swearing. "I told you there would be consequences." The man grabs her leg, using her heel again, Emi kicks his arm. A cracking sound resonates through the desolate streets. He yells in pain as Emi begins to walk away, "Next time when I say let go. You let go!" Before she could get any further, someone grabs her by the shoulder. A cold chill runs down her back, "H-hey Hijikata....." Hijikata pulls her back and crosses his arms, "Emi are you serious right now?"
