"Angie von Berringwood here. I'm a vamp of royal blood, but before you go on your knees and scream I'M NOT WORTHY! Don't. I hate being treated like royalty, it sucks. I think you already know Xiang and how I'm stuck with him. I'm actually surprised on how fast he adapted to all of this. He had his chance talking now, it's my turn to talk. I'll start from a week after that cave incident"

Chapter 1: Floathing Flowers?

It was Saturday, it was right after dinner. I walked down the brick road in the family garden, holding my youngest sister, Samantha's hand, with Xiang drifting beside her, his soul flames glowing light blue in the dim light. He was still wearing that ridiculous baseball hat, I'm not telling him it looks bad, I prefer being on his good side.

Right now Samantha kept looking at Xiang's head flame thingies. I think he calls them soul flames? She abruptly stopped and said to Xiang “I want a floathing flower like yours mister Spook,”

Xiang stopped and raised his brow, “Err...mister Spook?”

“That's what she calls you, she can't pronounce your name,” I explained. Xiang looked at his soul flames for a while and said “Floating flower...you mean my soul flames?”

“Yes I wanna floathing flower!”exclaimed Samantha as she stretched out her hands, like what she does when she's expecting a gift from someone.

Xiang shrugged and said “Hey, why not? There you go,” He grabbed one of those pale blue orbs and gently placed them in Samantha's hands.

“Yay!” exclaimed Samantha as she clutched the flame. “This feels like ice!” she added. She tried to bounce it like it was a ball, but as soon as she let go of it the flame disappeared and reappeared beside Xiang's head.

Samantha crossed her hands and stamped her foot, “You said you give me floathing flower!”

“I didn't know that would happen,” said Xiang as he shrugged. My sister pouted and said “Aww...”

He petted her and said “Maybe you'll get them someday?”

“Really?”

Uh-oh. I pulled Xiang away for a moment and said “Dude, don't get her hopes up, wrong kind of motivation at the wrong time,”

“Hey, she'll grow out of it,” said Xiang. “She's really persistent with most things man, tell her something el-WHAT THE LARK?!”

I felt something furry rubbing against my thigh, I opened my cloak and saw Fox's head sticking out of the red underside of it. Wait a minute...he's so close! My first reaction, I smacked his head out of my cloak and yelled at him.

“What the Lark were you doing in there?! Wait...I don't want to know!”

“Chill-lax princess, I didn't do anything dirty, I'm no sapiophile*! Captain told me to tell you that he won't be coming to school these few weeks, his grandmother's sick and he has to take care of her and blah blah blah, all that bullcrap, and oh, did you guys do the work Mr Karryon assigned you yet? It's freaking hard! I'm stuck at the question asking about the tranmutational alchemic substance thing!”

“Dude, that's not due until next week,”

“Oh, err...someone mind putting be back please?”

“Wait wait wait, tell me how did you do that?”

“Do what?”

“Get in my cloak!”

“Oh...emm...he made me do it,”

“He?”

“Yeah, you know him,”

What the Lark was he talking about? I sighed, picked his head up and put it in my cloak. Before he went he said “Oh yeah, don't put me in the blade factory, I'll clog up the machines again and mess up the metal or whatever they said,”

“Yeah, yeah, stupid cub of a-”

“Dude, your sister is here,”

“Dammit,”

“Hey em...Angie? A little help here!” yelled Xiang. I quickly tossed Fox into my cloak, who disappeared with a bark, and saw Samantha juggling all of Xiang's soul flames. “Now I know what happens when all of them get take away!”

He was turning see through, I tried putting my hand on his shoulder but it went right through him. “I think I'm losing control of my intangibility, that or I'm fading away...I think I'll go with the first one,”

“Sam! Give Xiang back his soul flames!”

“No! I wanna!”

“If you won't he'll fade away!”

“What?” She stopped and dropped the soul flames and they all reappeared beside Xiang's head. “Well...I'm no see through anymore, but why did they not disappear when they in the air when she was juggling them was strange,”

“Meh, who cares? Now Sam, we're taking you back to your room,”

“But but...”

Ugh...there she goes again...puppy eyes, that never works on me I'm not Lucy, or Katherine.

“To your room, now,

“Come on now, Angie, be nice to her, she was just playing,” said Xiang.

I sighed "Fine...But we're taking you back with us, we don't want you getting lost again,"

"No..." said Sam as she shook her head.

I don't need to explain, considering how young and small Sam is, she usually gets into more trouble than I can usually handle. Last time she got lost, we found her in a warehouse in the Eastern side. I mean what the heck?! How did she get there? Again...I don't know.

So we spend most of the evening walking round the garden, talking about current events and asking each other questions, well Xiang and I actually. When he asked me if my burns were healed, I recalled the time when we fought those guys in the tunnels. Wendy's not opening her mouth, and she's the only one who knows something about them. Even when Kai orders her to tell him its alway either at the wrong moment or she's not around.  The mystery has been going on for a week now. Who were they? Where did they come from? Most importantly why are they still here?

Everyone knew they died in an accident when Wendy was their team member. It was something about a fire and according the school records Team Gemini the First  was there before their replacement.

"Hey er Angie?" said a voice. It came from behind me and almost scared the living daylights out of me. It was Lawrence.

I turned around and asked "What is it?"

"Something happened,"

"What happened?" asked Xiang.

"Something, we need to go, now"
