It wasn't hard to find 'Her Serene Highness Katherine "Hellen" von Berringwood II of Büeringwald, Snow Rose of Berringwoods', since Fox caught her scent pretty quickly. I've been in this place for so long, yet...it's so easy to get lost in the halls, I wonder how the servants get around. Remembering directions is gonna be hard, then again, I don't really think they have anything better to do in their free time anyways. Kat was wide awake in her room, writing in her diary, she was so engrossed in the book she didn't even know we were in her room.

Fox was the first to break the silence. "Essay, you suck homegirl, bitch can't hear my fat ass knocking up yo door?" Kat jumped at his words, and reached for the dagger that she placed in her diary as a book mark. The next second, Kat had Fox pinned to the wall, dagger to his throat. Her eyes were narrow like a lazy tiger's, her expression and the way she held Fox by dagger point was like some deadly leopard that's coiled up and ready to kill at any moment. Pissed off, and maybe a little bit embarassed. If there was anyone that disliked Fox as much as I did, it would probably be someone that's not Kat. However, she hates people walking into her room uninvited. Like a highly territorial cougar. I've got to stop relating her to cats, but it's not my fault that she's more Kat like than anything. Okay, bad pun, so bad I actually screwed my face up for a while, drawing glances from Faustes and Lawrence. Their attention was then diverted to Kat when she spoke, her voice surprisingly polite and gentle coming from a woman who's just about to skewer a vulpine for entering the wrong territory, "Excuse me?"

"Yo, don't you speak gangsta hom-ack!" Fox was cut off when she pushed the dagger closer to his throat, making a small nick on his neck. "Okay! Okay! We need your help! Now drop me or get on with cutting my head off you 5000 year old young lady!"

Xiang sputtered when Fox said '5000 years old', "Wait, how old is she?" Lucy poked at him to get his attention, which only seemed to make him shudder and explained "She's a lot older than us, but not that exaggeratedly old though, Fox just likes to call us old since foxes don't live very long."

"Red Foxes don't live long. Great Foxes, live for 50 whole human years," said Fox, not caring the fact that he was about to lose his vocal cords. Kat glared at Fox, her eyes seeming to pierce into his and said, "You will apologize, now."

Kat must be doing her hypnosis thing, or as Fox put it, she was going to charm Fox into apologising. Fox rolled his eyes and said, "Try harder, just telling me to apologise isn't going to work, I suggest you don't my subconcious will most definately melt yours," Kat sniffed and dropped the fox, she brushed her nightgown and asked. "What are you all doing here? I was just about to go to sleep," Lucy stepped forward and said, "We need help, it's about Samantha. She's having night terrors, and the night terrors are killing the people in the palace." Kat raised her brow and asked, "In what way can I help? Lives are at stake."

"Considering you are the star of my plan, I'm touched to hear that you agreed to help before even knowing what you're about to be tossed into. I'll start explaining," said Fox as he crawled up beside Kat, "We, are going into your youngest sister's subconcious and we will stop the nightmares, and I'll do the honors of wiping up the nightmare fuel, you will be the one that will stop the 'machine' that uses the nightmare fuel. Do anything you can to make sure your sister's dreams convert to something more pleasant, sing a lullaby, talk to her, read her a storybook, whatever you can. Calming her down will stop this night of madness from tearing this castle apart," Kat looked at Fox skeptically, "And what if your plan doesn't work?"

"I was afraid that you might ask that," said Fox solemnly. This is one of the rare times where Fox does some serious thinking, his ears flattened themselves and his eyes narrowed themselves to the point where they looked like lines and his tail would swish left too right on the floor. His face screwed up, like he's eaten a millipede and said, "Then, you guys would have to do something about it. Plan B is dangerous, admittedly too dangerous, we're going to have to severe the mana link in her brain, tough job, sure she'll never be able to learn magic, something I would totally be fine with, but there're also possible side effects, like there's the usual schizophrenia, shrunken pupils, faster blood flow, a chance to go berzerk when provoked, or she just dies. I'm alright with all the other side effects, I don't care if she gets all of em. What I'm afraid of is that it's all on me. So, if my plan fails, there would be blood on my paws, and trust me," Fox's face curved into his normal cheeky look, his ears erected and his eyes opened a little bit. "I don't want any blood on these socks," said the fox as he raised paws that ended in the unnatural white socks that a normal red fox is not supposed to have. Kat held up her hands in surrender, "How are we going to get into her subconcious in the first place?"

"That'll be easy fer me. I"ll be tae one that'll send you all in tae the wee bairn's mind. Doe, I can't guarentee yer safety, since the lass is havin' noightmere and all that," warned the Spirit. Fox butted in and said "Don't worry, this isn't a 'die in there and you die in real life cliche', but assuming we don't stop it before daybreaks, which is in about 9 hours, we might as well be dead already, this entire place is gonna go down in less than 7 hours if those night terrors go rampant. Fire up the portal, we're going in right now, no time to lose, no time left to lose, blah blah blah, get on with it."

The Spirit snapped his fingers, and a dark purple portal opened up, no words said we stepped in. Do or die, losing would mean certain death, I guess this is how the guards felt.
