"There's gotta be a way to wake Sam up, we've been here for who knows how long," Lawrence exclaimed, his shoulders started to smoke and I shuffled away from him. He catches fire when he gets agitated, and the last thing I need right now is getting my hair set on fire. Fox sniffed and swished his tail around, knocking it into Xiang's wispy end and Kat's legs. "We haven't been here that long. Its only been an hour, your sense of time does not matter here. We're cut off from our world until we wake up Samantha over here." Fox swished his tail towards Sam's direction, knocking into Lucy's legs. Lucy stepped away from the tail before saying, "Judging by the current environment I say that we're close to the source of what ever is causing Sam's nightmares, because this." She gestured our surroundings, which would be pitch black if we didn't have our night vision or lights, but it might as well be, the rocks around us are so black it might as well have us wander around in the dark.

"That's a stereotype! Just because it's basically pitch black doesn't mean we're close to her nightmare source! I mean, that'll be to cliche wouldn't it?" Fox replied, his tail swishing around like a wagging finger. "I mean, that'll be too easy. Too..." The fox trailed off, and stopped, "I hear something, everybody, duck."

Kat quickly pushed me and Lucy down and grabbed Sam into a little huddle, our two 'Spooks' didn't though even though Fox explicitly told them to, Lawrence's shoulders caught fire, which entangled both his arms. The white hot flames so bright I wonder why he didn't burn more when he could have, it almost became blinding when he shot fire out of his arms by clapping them together and sending a wave of white flame down the tunnel. There was a distant explosion of rock, and something sounding like a shattering of glass. The ground around us began to shake as white light shot out from the cracking ground. It's bright. Too bright. I tried to cover my eyes, but I couldn't, white light flooded my vision, blinding me. Lucy and Sam screamed. I last saw Kat trying to make a red shield around herself, but she got swallowed by the light. Fox's flame died out and disappeared in the flash. I didn't see the two ghost boys either. Last thing I knew, I felt someone punch me in the gut.

I woke up with a start, we're back in Sam's room. The Spirit was gone, and there was a note on the floor. It was a piece of paper, inscribed with white light. I peered at it, it was written in English, thank the Sanguine. It said:

"I had business to do. If you succeed, congratulations. If you didn't, you probably need another Spirit now. This one has a Sun to help."

I wasn't really expecting the Spirit to stay, but that note didn't help at all, we've been stuck so long in Sam's dreams that the sun is rising, great, fantastic. There goes my Saturday night. Wait, where was everyone else? I looked around, pretty much annoyed by the fact that I was alone, I was just about to go out until I tripped on Kat's body, it threw me off balance and just when I finally caught my balance. Someone shoved me from behind and I hit my chin on the floor.

"Still awake? Well, that won't be a problem."

I did not recognize that voice, of all the servants, the soldiers, the people who've seeked an audience with my dad, I didn't recognize that voice. I never fail to recognize a voice. Needless to say, my reaction was almost immediate. I wrapped my cloak around myself and shadow cloaked the heck out of that room. Somewhere, anywhere, somewhere safe came into my head when I went poof. Next thing I knew, I was in my own room. The door still battered down, the wolf thing is gone though, so I suppose that's a good sign, but...who was that voice?

I peeked out of my room for a while, and saw a servant girl on the floor, she was still alive judging by her rising and falling chest, and her deep breathing meant that she was asleep. "Great. If I'm not wrong, everyone in the damned castle is asleep."

"You're right." said Xiang as his head popped from the floor as he pushed his ghostly self through. "Apparently we're out, but I woke up in the wine cellar. Must have phased through the wall on accident and wounded up there when that flash hit us. Everyone's asleep. I checked. Lawrence should be here about now."
