Lia's POV

I was called up to the principle office. I didn't understand why because I'm pretty sure I didn't do anything wrong yet, but I quickly calmed down when I heard Summer's name was being called after mine.

I walked pass Justin as I left the class room. He gave me a questioned look and I shrugged my shoulders back at him. I then stepped out of the room and made my way towards the principal's room. On the way, Summer joined me and we both walked with confusion written on our faces.

"What did you do?" I looked over at Summer doubtfully and she narrowed her eyes at me. "Just making sure."

"With this hangover? The only thing I could do right now is maybe kill a fly." I nodded my head, she did make a point. "How about you? Pissing your teacher off already?"

"I'm just as dead as you right now, no energy for that." I rolled my eyes back at her.

We finally reached the principal's room, it was a big room that smelt like Jasmine flowers and the secretary was sitting outside like usual.

"Hello girls." We both flashed her a smile as she grinned at us cheerfully. Jane had worked here for years, she was one of the few staffs I actually like in this school. "Oh the principal is actually not here, Victor is here today."

"Victor?" Summer raised her eyebrows and Jane nodded her head confirming she was right. "Do you know why he called us here?"

"I'm afraid I don't dear." Jane smiled apologetically and motioned us to go into the principal's room. "The rest of the boys will be here with you guys in a minute."

Victor was Jade's dad, he was the director of a global organisation and the school was one of his project. Victor and his wife usually had to leave the house for their business trips and according to Jade, they were rarely home. It was true, I only talked and saw them twice in my nine years of friendship with Jade.

*Knock knock*

"Come in."  Victor looked up from the pile of papers to smile at us. His smile was different compared to Jane, it was diplomatically. Summer and I nodded our heads and made ourself comfortable on the couch opposite from his desk. "So how are you girls? The last time I saw you two were two years ago?"

"Three actually." I crossed my arms together and fixed his time misapplication.

"Well that explain why you both had grew so much since the last time I saw you. How old are you two? Seventeen, sixteen?" Victor looked at me and back at Summer.

I raised my eyebrows at his question. Did he seriously just asked for our age? We're the same age as his son and he doesn't know how old we were? Does this also mean he doesn't remember how old Jade was?

"Seventeen." There was a hint of bitterness in Summer's voice as she answered Victor's question. She suddenly sat up straight from her seat and looked at him straight in the eyes. "Mr.Hudson, why did you exactly called us up here instead of your own son Jayden? I'm sure you don't just want a little chit chat down the memory lane with us."

"Still the same old Summer I see." Victor flashed a sly smile but there was clear disparagement in his eyes and Summer flinched. Victor was up to something, I may not know this man well but I knew he was acting different from the last time I encountered with him. "Very well, I'll get straight into business." Victor's smile was finally wiped off and he pressed his lips together in a thin line. "I need you two to be here so the rest of the boys will had no other choice but to come to my office."
