Lia's POV
I was finally asleep after hours of twisting and turning on my bed. It felt like only minutes passed by when I heard the screeching sound from my balcony doors, someone was opening it. I grimaced as the sunlight shone into my dark room. I turned my body away from the balcony and drowned my face in the pile of white pillows to hide myself away from the light- I refused to wake up.
I heard footsteps tiptoeing towards my bed and suddenly more footsteps were heard coming into my room. My instinct told me some creep was watching me sleep and my brain demanded for me to wake up. I frowned when I realised my body was numbed. I was too tired and last night had done me well. I felt my heartbeat escalated as the footsteps got closer and at this point, I could hear someone snickering.
"RISE AND SHINE LIA!"
I groaned loudly after putting a face into this familiar voice. I was glad that it was someone I knew and not some creep watching me sleep but I was mostly pissed. The one and only obnoxious voice that I had grew familiar with through my seventeen years of birth. Yes, the voice belonged to no other than my asshole of a twin brother. Drum rolls please, Justin Fucking Anderson.
"COME ON LIA AREN'T YOU EXCITED FOR SCHOOL? IT'S MONDAY!"
I flipped him my middle finger.
"I'll pay anything just to watch Lia one day to be excited for school." I heard someone snickered and spoke in a mocking voice. I tried rolling my eyes while still keeping it shut when I realised it was Jade.
"Lia we will give you three seconds to get your ass out of your bed before we forced you out."
I grunted and shut my eyes tighter at my brother's weak attempt of getting me out of bed. Five seconds had passed and I had no intention to move anytime soon.
"Very well. We see you had made up your mind. You'd left us with no other options but to do it our way. You have been warned Lia." I was confused as I heard Justin's voice. I expected them to wouldn't actually have a plan for what they were planning to do. I gulped as I heard my brother's voice again. "Ready bro?"
"Hell yeah."
"OKAY I'M UP NOW CUT THE NOISE!" My eyes were wide opened as I heard the sound of pots and pans colliding with each other rapidly. I then shot out of bed with both of my hands blocking my ears.
Oh hell no, this couldn't happened to me, a hangover on Monday?! I knew it was a terrible idea to go completely wasted last night. It felt like Miley Cyrus swinging on her wrecking ball inside my head.
"Told you not to go out last night. I mean seriously? Drinking on a Sunday night when you clearly know you have school the next morning?" The two morons had stopped banging their pots and Justin was speaking to me in a simulated worry voice.
"Shut up Justin." I squeezed my eyes shut and rubbed the temples of my head. Even though the noises had stopped, it still felt like someone is using a hammer and repeatedly hit my head.
I opened my eyes again and surveyed my bedroom. Jade was leaning against my door with a stupid grin on his face that I wanna slap it away. I groaned as I looked outside my balcony, bad move right there. If supernatural was even a real thing, then I might be a low key vampire. It'll explain the hatred I had for sunlight and Justin.
"Don't you guys have anything else better to do?" I spoke in a hoarse voice before downing all the water in my cup that I had left next to my bedside table.
"Actually we do, we are heading to Summer's room next." Justin grinned and flashed me his set of white teeth. I rolled my eyes after I saw the excitement in his eyes. My brother knew Summer and I were both wasted last night, he tried stopping us but we didn't have a lot of self control. There was basically none when the alcohol was in my system. "Anyway get ready quick, we're heading to school in twenty minutes."
