Mika POV

Mikaela Hyakuya was walking down a spiralling staircase that wound into a darkness that no man, vampire or monster could see through, no matter what eyes they possessed. This was no matter to him though, he had been down here countless times, every time hesitant on taking the first step but in the end he would always arrive at the grand, double door. On the left half of the door, there was wood carved intricately with patterns of lions and rabbits frolicking in the sunshine, carefree, as well as beautiful flowers and trees in the background. On the other half, these same animals are hanging limp, with their eyes rolled back into their heads, blood dripping out of their chests and all the flowers and trees are as dead as can be due to the curling iron roses welded to the door, whose thorns were the ones that speared the animal's chests. The door, although a gruesome picture, always managed to strike a chord within Mika because he related to the storyline of the door. Mika would always linger at this masterpiece of craftsmanship, looking at the left side and he always wished that he could go back to such a peaceful time. Where he could crush Yuu-chan into a hug despite his woes of protest, where he could run his fingers endlessly through Yuu-chan's hair and where he could finally tell Yuu-chan that secret that he had held locked inside for so many years.

The door suddenly swung open, alerting Mika that he was granted entrance into the room. He walked in 10 steps and kneeled down on one knee to bow. After getting up, he was met with the familiar sight of a beautiful lady with flowing pink hair bound up into pigtails and wearing frilly black attire. Her face may look as young as a budding flower but her eyes are as ancient as dust and hold over 600 years of wisdom. He bowed his head slightly once more and said, "Greetings Krul."

"Greetings Mika!"

"You know why I'm here, correct?"

"Of course, who do you think you are talking to?" As she is speaking she fishes out 5 bottles of her own blood out of some compartment in her throne.

"My apologies. After this meeting I am going off on a mission to capture a commander from the Moon Demon Company."

"Ahh yes, Ferid is leading that one isn't he? Bastard." She tosses the bottles to Mika and he swiftly catches them with the grace of a panther.

"It should be an easy mission, simple to execute."

At this moment Krul's voice changed from a commanding one into a motherly, cautionary one, "Nevertheless, be careful Mika, I have a bad feeling about this commander."

"Your hunches are usually correct so I will be on my guard." Mika took his last bow and with his blood he turned around and headed to the planes for his mission.

Mika stepped into his assigned plane and sat in his assigned seat and waited for take-off when suddenly he heard the regrettably familiar sashaying steps of a certain noble. "Mika, Mika, Mi-Mikaaa!"

Freezing in disgust at the singsong voice he replied with, "Greetings Ferid," in a frigid voice.

"No need to be so cold Mika! Oh how unloved I feel! The woe!"

"We are due for take-off in 4 minutes, I recommend that you find your seat before then."

"Mika I reserved this seat just so I could talk to you of course! Why else would I be willingly sitting in such 3rd class seats?"

"What do you want to talk about?"

"This commander that we are capturing, once he is in our hands I want you to do something."

"Something?"

"I want, no, order you to take his sword, unsheathe it and..."

"And...?"
