The Summoning

"Wait a sec, what are we summoning!?"

"Like I said, an angel!" Yuu replied to Mitsuba with an ironically devilish grin.

Shinoa stood up as she calmly spoke, "Yuu-san, I am sorry to tell you but when a human dares to summon a real angel, that same angel will smite that puny human with no hesitation. We are like shit on the ground to them."

Yuu turned to Shinoa and with a spark in his eye replied, "Normally yea, the angel would kill that human but if that human has angel blood in them and commands a seraph's power then there is a chance that they will live long enough to at least negotiate with them! Also this angel is special!"

Yoichi then stepped forward and said, "Yuu-kun, who do we know that has angel blood in them!? No one like that exists!"

Yuu's smile turned into a pitiful one as he mournfully replied, "Unfortunately Yoichi they do and that person is me. Have you forgotten? Shinoa went to Guren and asked him directly, I am an Owari no seraph. I have angel blood within me, I am one of the trumpets although I have no idea which one I would be and what powers I would have."

Kimizuki angled his chin upwards as he enquired, "So Yuu, out of all of us you have the best chance of surviving this angel summoning?"

"Yes."

"Do you know how to?"

"I already read up on it."

"Then I think we should do it next week."

Yuu's face contorted into a mix of surprise and anger as he exclaimed, "What!? Next week? That's ages away, we need to do it now!!!"

Shinoa put a hand on Yuu's shoulder as she said, "Yuu-san I agree with Kimizuki. You look like a mess. You need to sleep and you need to rest. Summoning an angel would require a lot of energy and at the moment you look like utter crap."

"But Shinoa!"

"No buts Yuu-san, as leader of this squad I order you to go to sleep immediately!"

"The more I sleep then the more Mika will suffer though!"

"Yuu-san! Do you seriously think that Mika would ever want to see you in such a pitiful state!? Never! So suck it up princess and go to bed or else we will have to 'tuck' you in."

At that moment Shinoa's grin turned evil and Yuu shivered before replying with, "Ok! Ok! You really don't need to do that, I'll go to sleep! Promise though that we will summon the angel next week!"

"Yuu-san I promise. By the way before you go to sleep which angel are we summoning?"

"Oh Sandalphon!"

Yoichi exclaimed, "An archangel!? Sandalphon is really high up in the hierarchy! Wait a second if I remember correctly Sandalphon's name translated was..."

Yuu quickly interjected with, "Sandalphon means bringing together! He battles Samael, the angel of death and brings mankind together. Appropriate right? With Sandalphon's help, Mika and I will be brought together again and we will stand against that perverted bastard, Ferid!" Yuu finished with a bright grin.

A week later...

Shinoa was walking through the courtyard when in the blistering 40 degree heat, she spotted a black mass heading towards her at a fast pace, it was barrelling towards her and it was getting closer and closer and she had no idea who or what it was until it hit her, literally. She collapsed to find someone shouting loudly in her ear, ".....-Noa? ...Inoa! Shinoa! Come on it's been a week! You promised!" Shinoa looked up to see Yuu sweating profusely with a determined smile on his face as he said, "Sandalphon, here we come!"
At that moment, Shinoa burst into laughter after seeing Yuu's antics, "Oi cherry idiot I get it haha, we'll drive out today. I know a good place and you seem healthier than you did a week ago but calm your shit ok? To do this, you especially, need to be concentrated." Yuu's face turned into a determined expression as he replied, "I'm plenty concentrated, let's go."
