I woke the next morning feeling energized and happy, for once. Today was July 1st. Since I am Canadian its Canada day for me so I was going to head to Toronto for the day. I hadn't told Bryce yet, even thought mrs.hall knows, so I thought that maybe I should invite him. I quickly tied up my long curly brown hair and went to go find Bryce.
Bryce was in his room with Mark and Jacob. Man do these guys ever leave this house? Anyways I know led on the door so they would know I was here and I walked inside. "Hey guys I was about to take a flight to Toronto for Canada day and I was wondering if you wanted to come? I know there were a lot of extra seats left so you can quickly buy a ticket." They all looked at each other as if they were reading each other's mind and said "sure!" Jacob and Mark both asked their moms who said they could come. We arranged the flight and were about to leave.
When we got to the airport we said our goodbyes to mrs.hall, even thought we would be back late tonight. We got on the plane and Mark and Bryce sat together in front of me and Jacob. I looked out the window and dozed off with my headphones in my ear.
The flight wasn't very long so I was woken up in the middle of my peaceful sleep. Thanks Jacob. We got off the plane and went straight to find a cab. I was going to bring than to the CN tower so we could eat a the restaurant. We got in the cab and everyone argued about who got the front seat. I won obviously. The ride was pretty quite other than the awkward talk with the driver.
When we got there we paid the driver and made our way in. We all bought our separate tickets and took the elevator that led to the top. They were all pretty happy with the view. There were a lot of people considering it was Canada day. We decided to walk around for a bit before we went to eat. That's when I realized I couldn't find anyone. I looked around. At least I had made friends. This was the start of a new beginning for me, but first I had to find my friends....
