What Lies Ahead *Jacob Satorius*

Chapter 9: Tour

     The rain hit the window and sounded like hail. I looked up and heard it that horrible scream, and saw the flash.
       I quickly sat up panting. I hate it when I have that nightmare. It's been 1 year and 7 days since the incident, since I lost my place in this world.my thoughts were I turnover by a knock on the door. "Maddie can i come in" I heard Bryce say.
"Sure" I replied. They all walked in and Bryce came and sat on my bed.
"Well maddie, I was invited to this tour called magcon and so was Jacob. We wanted to bring someone with us so do you want to come?"
"Um..yeah" I said.
"Great pack your bags. We leave tomorrow at 5:00a.m. Were gone for 1 month or so ok?"
"Ok" I told Bryce as he left. I was actually really excited to go. Maybe I could get to know Bryce and Jacob more. I couldn't wait. I got up and just put on a pair of sweatpants and a t-shirt. I started packing then went downstairs for lunch. The day was actually going by pretty fast. Once I was done packing it was almost 9:00. I should get to sleep so thats what I did.
       Beep! Beep! My annoying alarm made until I shut it off. I was kinda shaken. I had it again. That dream of that day. Every time it gets worse. I heard footsteps coming and quickly whipped the tears that were formed in my eyes.
"Maddie there you are. We have to leave soon" I heard as my door opened. I looked up and to my surprise saw Jacob. I tried to make my voice calm as I replied. It didn't really work. "Maddie, what's wrong?!"
"Just a bad dream that's all" I replied looking down.
"What was it about?" No one knows what happened that day. Only one or two people from the foster centre but not even mrs.hall. I don't think I'm ready to tell Jacob. "I'd rather not talk about it".
