Chapter 12

Your P.O.V

"Well, we're here" Mr. Jeff- i mean Mark said. Okay i really need to get used to calling him Mark now. I get out of the car and look around. Seems like a business building. Mark got out and we went to the entrance together. Hm... just saying the word 'together' makes me feel so... lucky? We went in and there were two ladies at a desk which seemed to be an information counter.

"Hello, how can i help you?" One of the ladies asked. "We're here for Annie leibovitz's talk? My name is Mark Jefferson." Mark said. "Alright, give me a minute please." She said as she typed rapidly on the keyboard and smiled. "Mr. Jefferson and Miss (Y/L/N), please take the elevator up to the 11th floor and it's on the first door to your right." She said and we thanked her before heading into the elevator.

"Excited?" Mark asks. I smiled and nodded. "Yea, i can't believe i'm gonna meet her!" I say. Marks laughs. Soon we reached the 11th floor and got out. We headed for the room and Mark pushed down the handle before going in. We were immediately welcomed by Annie Leibovitz. THE Annie Leibovitz.

"Ah my friend, happy to see you again!" She says and she and Mark hug for awhile. "Yes it's been too long. How are you?" Mark asks smiling. "I'm alright, been travelling around the world, god it's exhausting but i love it. And who is this beautiful young lady here?" She asks and I blush. "H-hi... I-I'm (Y/N)..."

"She's one of my photography students and is also a huge fan of yours." Mark helps me finish my sentence. "Ahaha, I'm flattered. Nice to meet you my dear. I assume since it's Mark who brought you here, you must be very good at photography." She says humbly, reaching out her hand. I shake it, and Mark chuckled."Still good at predicition I see." Mark says. "But of course. Why don't you two take a seat before we start?" She says and we did. Of course, we sat at the front. Within 10 minutes or so, people started coming into the room and there were about 50 people there. From Adults to teens, they all seemed to come from various backgrounds. "Shall we begin?" Annie asks the room and everyone applauded before she began.

When the talk ended and the three of us were left in the room Annie came over to us and we stood up. "How did you find the talk?" She asks looking at me smiling. "It was amazing! I learnt so many new skills that i will definitely be using in the future!" I say and she laughs. "Mark, send her photos to me. I would love to see her work"

Mark nods. "I will. We shall take our leave" he says and we wave goodbye to annie and head to the elevator.

Mark's P.O.V

As soon as the elevator doors close, (Y/N) was jumping lightly up and down. "I can't believe i shook hands and spoke with Annie Leibovitz!!" She exclaimed. I smiled. I've never seen her so happy and i'm glad i was the reason. Well, i did let her meet Annie. And (Y/N) looked stunning in that dress. It matched her beautiful flowy hair. We left the building and got into my car again.

"Perhaps we should grab lunch? My treat." I asked as i buckled my seat belt. "I've inconvenienced you enough for today Mark, it's alright" she said smiling. "Just one more tiny thing wouldn't hurt now would it?" I say and she playfully rolled her eyes and smiled. "Fine fine, next time i'm treating you." She gave in. "Then i'll pick the most expensive place to eat" i say and we both laugh before heading for one of my favourite places to eat, the Two Whales Diner.
