"EVERYBODY IN THIS HOUSEHOLD BETTER GET UP RIGHT NOW OR I SWEAR TO GOD I WILL BREAK YOUR WANDS AND SEND YOU TO LIVE WITH MY MUGGLE COUSIN!" Mrs.Weasley's voice echoed through the house, jolting Petunia awake. Petunia and Ginny rushed to put on their clothes, stumbling down the stairs and into the kitchen with their trunks dragging behind them."Morning!" Chirped Percy, who had probably been up since 6 as per usual.
Ginny just glared at him, slamming her head onto the table to sleep. Petunia took a seat next to her, stretching as she yawned a good morning back at Percy. Ron came in, his eyes barely open as he looked around to check the time.
"It's 9:00. So you guys missed breakfast." Mrs.Wealsey informed them as she pushed Fred and George into the kitchen. "But I packed you all sandwiches for on the way." With a flick of her wand five brown paper bags were flung into the laps of everyone except Ginny, who wouldn't be attending Hogwarts this year.
"Now everyone get a move on! We've got an hour and twenty minute drive ahead of us!" Mrs.Weasley demanded, stomping out the door to the car.
Everybody pretended to stuff their trunks into the back so that Mrs.Weasley didn't realize that her husband had enchanted their small Ford Anglia's trunk to easily fit all of their stuff. Once everybody was settled in and buckled up they were off.
-An Hour and Twenty Minutes Later-
"George put your wand away!" Scowled Mrs.Weasley as George tried to hex Percy. "Honest to goodness, you have to do this here? In a train station, packed with muggles of course! Why wouldn't you want to hex your brother with hundreds of muggles everywhere?" George sheepishly put his wand away as they neared the barrier between Platform 9 and Platform 10.
"Now, what's the platform number?" said Mrs.Weasley.
"Nine and three-quarters!" piped up Ginny, who looked as if she was about to cry. "Mom, can't I go..."
"You're not old enough, Ginny, now be quiet. All right, Percy, you go first."
Percy puffed out his chest and strode confidently towards the barrier walking through it as a crowd of muggles walked past.
"Fred, you next," Mrs.Weasley said.
"I'm not Fred, I'm George," Fred grinned. "Honestly, woman, you call yourself our mother? Can't you tell I'm George?"
Not paying attention, she played along. "Sorry, George, dear."
"Only joking, I am Fred," he snickered, running off through the barrier before Mrs.Weasley could scold him. He was quickly followed by George.
"Excuse me." A boy around Petunia's age said.
"Hello, dear," Mrs.Weasley greeted. "First time at Hogwarts? Ron and Petunia are new, too." She pointed at Petunia and Ron.
"Yes," said the boy, his bangs falling and blocking out his forehead. Something about him looked oddly familiar to Petunia. "The thing is - the thing is, I don't know how to -"
"How to get onto the platform?" Mrs.Weasley said kindly, to which the boy nodded sheepishly. "Not to worry," she said. "All you have to do is walk straight at the barrier between platforms nine and ten. Don't stop and don't be scared you'll crash into it, that's very important. Best do it at a bit of a run if you're nervous. Go on, go now before Ron."
"Er-okay," said the boy. He pushed his trolley around and stared at the barrier. With a deep breath he walked towards it, picking up his pace as he neared before barreling through.
"What a nice young boy." Commented Mrs.Weasley. "Parent's must be muggles or else he'd know where to go. Alright, Ron you go."
Ron ran through, followed by Petunia, then Mrs.Weasley and Ginny. They all walked through the bustling crowd to the scarlett train.
