"How are you?" Hailey says as we stand in the lift.
"Ok. I'm doing ok" I say. She looks down.
"So there a bonfire at my house tonight. Want to come?"
"Is Stefan going to be there?" I ask. She nods her head. "I'm not going" I say.
"Why not? You said it was over. He knows that. You know that. All you have to do is not go near him or not talk to him. Its that simple."
"How do you know he'll do the same. He's been looking at me different since yesterday. Its like he sees me as being broken and he's just waiting for me to be better so we can be girlfriend and boyfriend again" I explain.
"I'll tell him. Changing the subject we need dresses for the formal next week."
"What do you mean? I have one. It a Oak and Elms Blue Lace Maxi Dress."
"So fast? So I need a dress. I want a red dress" she says. I shake my head and look in all the shop windows. I finally see a dress that she would love. I grab her arm and pull her into the shop. It was a Ladylove Wine Red Strapless Maxi Dress. She tries it on and buys it.
"So sorry. I have to go to my appointment. See ya later."
"Come to the party" she yells as I walk out.

I get home and see a note on the table. 'Hey hun, gone to get some groceries be home later. Stefan will take you to your appointment.' I roll me eyes and look at it.
"What's wrong?" Stefan asks. I give him the note. "Oh" he replies. "We better leave now" he says grabbing his keys and getting the kids. We sit in the car in silence. It was so awkward.
"Can we ice cream?" Erin asks. I look at her and smile.
"If your good. Can you do that?" I ask. She nods her head I smile and look at Stefan who is smiling. It was the first time I had seen him smile in ages. I quickly look away before he sees me and look outside.
I sit there nervous. I look to my left and see Jack sitting there in his seat.
"Hey, Aunt Jordan. Can I have some water?" she asks. I walk over to the tank and get her a cup. On the way back I see a guy with brown eyes and dark brown hair. He smiles at me and I give a fake smile back. He shakes his head still smiling. I sit back down and look at him. I didn't know why he was there. He didn't look to be sick or have any injuries. I look at Stefan who was looking at me. The doctor comes up and call me out. I walk with him and sit in the comfy chair in his office.
"How are you?" he asks. He looks really professional with his dress top and pants. He had brown hair and geeky glass.
"Sore" I reply. He pushes his glasses up and takes off my brace.
"Its definitely swollen and bruised. How did you do this?"
I think about my answer for a second, I couldn't tell him the really reason but I couldn't lie. "My friend and I were fighting- playful fight and he grabbed my wrist and squeezed it. He didn't know how hard he was squeezing until he heard a crack" I explain. It close to the truth.
"Oh. I see" he says turning my wrist over. I let out a waling noise as he turns it over. "Does that hurt?" he asks looking up at me. I nod my head in pain.
"Ok. You had x-rays the other day and it was a small fracture. Would you like a cast or keep using a brace?"
"Brace" I say. I didn't want a whole lot of plaster sheets on my arm. I would rather have a tight and annoying brace then plaster.
