Chapter 3

(Tommy’s POV)

“DAD!!” I yelled across the house.

“WHAT?” Dad screamed.

I walked into my dad’s room where he was at and I opened the door and sat down on the side of his bed.

“Can I take the car for school in the morning?” I asked.

“You want to seriously risk taking my car to school?” he asked me like I was stupid.

“Yea.” I said.

“Fine.” he told me. “but if I see one scratch…”

“I know I know.” I said.

I knew better than to get a scratch on his prize car. The Aston Martin One 77 was one sexy car.

I got up off of my dad’s bed and walked to the front door.

“Dad I will be back.” I yell to him.

“Be back before 12.” he screamed back.

I walked out the door and went over to my crappy 1993 Honda Civic. This car was older than me and I was driving it. This car broke down 3/4ths of the time I drive it. Morgan and Tyler offered to buy me a car for my birthday next week, but I said no.

I got in my car and I started it up. I drove to Morgan’s house because I knew Karah, Kayden, and their daughter Isabella were going to be there tonight. They had to tell everyone something.

I pulled out of the driveway and headed to my sister’s house.

I arrived about 10 minutes later to see my family’s cars in the driveway.

I cut off the car and went up to the front door and rang the doorbell.  Karah came up to the door and let me in. I saw Bella (short for Isabella) walking around. I haven’t seen her since she was just born. Ever since they moved away….Change topic…anyways I walked inside and picked Bella up and grabbed her cup that she dropped.

“Hey little brother.” Karah told me. 

“Sup big sister.” I told her.

“Well…since everyone’s here, Can we tell them?” Kayden said.

“Of course.” Karah said kissing Kayden.

I want a mate so bad…

“Well, everybody, listen up.” Kayden said. “We got some big news.”

“Oh lord…Are you pregnant again?” Morgan said laughing.

“No. But we are moving back here.” She said smiling.

“Hell yeah!!” I yelled. “Oops. Excuse my language, guys.”

“YAY!” Morgan said hopping up from Tyler’s lap to kiss Karah on the cheek.

“Finally.” Tyler said.

“I know right!” I told them, kissing and hugging Karah and hugging Kayden.

I was so happy. I barely got to see them when they were in North Carolina. Kayden’s aunt and uncle were in North Carolina, that’s why they moved. His dad went with them.

“What about Danny?” I said.

“He is coming back tomorrow. We got the first flight in to tell y’all.” Karah said cheesing her big smile.

“Wait, we forgot someone.” Tyler said.

I looked out the window to see headlights pulling up to the driveway. Who else could it be?

“Who in the….” I said before Tyler interrupted me.

“My boss…guys, please be nice and proper.” Tyler said.

“Fine.” I said putting Bella down and I started heading up the stairs. I knew that Lali and Railey were probably laying down and not asleep so I would go say hi to them and Hunter.

“Sup little ladies.” I said.

“Sup Uncle Tommy.” Lali said in her ‘gangsta’ tone.

“Sup.” Railey said in a deep voice.

“Aren’t you little ladies supposed to be asleep?” I said sitting down in the bean bag between their beds.

“Maybe..” Railey said rubbing her chin.

“Where did you get that move from?” I said winking at her.

“Godfather.” she said giggling.

“Ohhh.” I said standing up. “So you wanna get smart?”

I leaned over to her and I started tickling her. She was laughing and having fun.

I hear someone clear their throat. I looked over at the doorway to see Kayden standing there.

“Y’all couldn’t invite me to the party?” He said as he started tickling Lali.

I love those girls.

We got through tickling them and they were tired out. I stood up and kissed both of them goodnight. Kayden did the same. We both told them goodnight and we loved them and we cut on their nightlights.

We cracked the door and stood out in the hallway.

“Kayden…I have a question.”

“Yea?” he said.

“Well….how do you know when you have a mate?”
