Chapter 11

(Tommy's POV)

We were waiting in Room 120. The doctor had come in once to check on her and then he left. We have been waiting for at least two hours and no one else has come to check on her. Brent came around one hour and a half ago, and he was sitting in the room with us. He didn't like me, I could tell. I looked at him up and down and he looked back with disgust.

Morgan, Danny, and Dad came back right before we went back to the room. They said that they found where that woman was hiding, but they couldn't enter because it was against the treaty. I was worried because what if, when she realized, that her allies turned against her and joined our side. Tyler and Morgan left with the kids when they called Gracie back. Bryan, Cole, and Rebecca were with TJ and Danny out in the waiting room. They wouldn't leave their side.

"Ms. Hunter," a nurse said coming in with a clipboard. "We need to get you to the x-ray room. We think you may have a broken rib. Then we will have to take you to get a CAT scan and a MRI." A male nurse came in with needles and an IV bag.

Gracie scrunched up in the bed. She put her legs up to her chest and she was shaking her head. She hates needles, and I would have to hold her down. I was going to get chewed out by her, or the nurse. Either way, if I didn't hold her down, I was going to regret it.

Brent walked up to Gracie and he whispered something in her ear. He smiled then sat back down. As soon as he sat down, she lied down and put her arm out. She closed her eyes, and she reached for my hand.

"We can numb your arm if you would like, but it won't help, ma'am." The male nurse said.

"You don't have too."

"Well, just be still, and squeeze his hand if it hurts." The woman nurse said.

Brent got up and held her arm down, so she wouldn't move. They put the needle into her vain and they started drawing blood. They said that they would have to do tests before they could give her x-rays. Holy shit, how long would it take? They filled up four little tubes of blood and they put it in a container. When they were through, they put the I.V in her arm and she flinched. But, Brent was holding her. She squeezed my hand 5 times as hard as she could, and she said sorry each time.

"We will be back in a second." The female nurse said.

Gracie looked at the woman like she was stupid and I laughed. Brent looked at Gracie's expression then he laughed also. Gracie didn't even know that she was making that expression.

(Gracie's POV)

I lied in bed looking at the two favorite men in my life, and they didn't even like each other. I love my brother with all my heart, and I was starting to love Tommy too. If I had to choose between them, then I couldn't. The pull between Tommy and I couldn't keep us apart.But I don't want to lose my brother. When our parents died, he was the only one I had left. Then we were adopted by our parents now, he has always been there for me.

"Can you go and get me a drink please, Brent?" I said with a crack in my voice, I was so thirsty.

"Sure, what kind?" he asked.

"Strawberry Sunkist."

He left out of the room and he headed towards the elevator. I looked at Tommy and gestured for him to get in the bed and for him to lay down with me. He got up out of the chair and he sat in the bed and lay down. He put his arm around me and laid his other arm on my stomach. He was so gentle, he didn't even hurt me. I looked at him and he looked at me. He looked at me with love in his eyes and I fell in love right then and there.

Tommy kissed me and I kissed back. He licked my bottom lip and I let his tongue massage against mine. We were making out on a bed in the hospital. Wow, was he spontaneous or not?

I hear someone clearing their throat and I looked at the door. Brent was standing there with a huge teddy bear and my drink in his hand. I pulled away from Tommy and he hopped out of bed and went back to his chair. My cheeks turned blood red and I felt embarrassed.

"Sorry." I said. "Oops."

"Yea, yea. Here, I bought this is the gift shop." He said handing the bear to me, and then he handed me the drink.

"Wait, I didn't know the gift shop was open this late?" I said.

"They close at midnight. It is only 11:57." He said laughing at me.

"Oh." I said chugging my drink.

"Want another one? I will get it this time." Tommy asked politely.

"Please?" I asked.

He leaned over me and kissed me on the forehead.

He left the room and Brent sat next to me on the bed. He picked the bear up off of me and put it on the ground.

"I have something to tell you, sis." Brent said.

"What is it?" I asked. He had a concerned look on his face. He looked around the room trying to escape the look I was giving him. He looked like he didn't want to do anything to set me off, or hurt my feeling. I looked at him and I tried to figure out his expression. His expression was guilt. I shook him to get his attention back on me and I said, "What, what is it?"

"We....we're....werewolves."

(Rebecca's POV)

Looking out onto the starry night is beautiful. But not when your cooped up in a hospital waiting room. I looked out onto the patio of the hospital and i was watching the trees. I saw something like one of us, but it didn't look like they were from Wolf's Grove. I stared hard at the figure and i realized that it was a white wolf. It stood out because of the color. I saw a little pup with the wolf and the pup looked reddish brown. I hit Cole's arm to get his attention but also trying not to lose sight of the wolf.

"WHAT?" he said angrily because i woke him up.

"Look!!!!" i screamed.

Bryan, TJ, and Danny jumped up out of their seat to see what i was seeing. They saw the wolf but as soon as Cole looked, the wolf was gone. I tried to get sight of the wolf again but i had nothing. The rare white wolf and i lost it. I felt important because i was the one who spotted it.

"Danny....go search the perimiter." TJ said. "I will go tell Tommy!"

Even though they just left us three alone i was going to stay here. I was NOT going to risk the alpha of Wolf's Grove finding out.
