(Tommy’s POV)

 Today. is. the. day.

I paced back and forth standing by the preacher. I sat down and I started kicking my feet. I saw my father standing by the door and my sisters were gone somewhere with my bride. I started to get frustrated as the crowd started coming in and they took their seats. The church was starting to get full. I looked at the windows and saw the stained glass. I didn’t want to focus on the time, so I read the scriptures at the bottom of the windows. It was so ironic about the things that they said. I invited everyone I knew, and I am guessing that Gracie invited everyone in the whole entire town, but I wasn’t worried about the population in the church, I was wondering about my wonderful wife-to-be. Being 8 and 3/4th pregnant and at a wedding, you start to worry. I looked over at the bible verse that said, “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head." Over and over again.

I heard the music start to play as everyone took their seats. I stood up and I fixed my tux. Brent, who I chose to be my best man, was gesturing me to calm down. I put my hands together and brought them up to my mouth. I blew out a huge breath. I felt tingling in my legs. I didn’t know whether it was nervousness, or my legs were still jittery from sitting down. Either way, I didn’t care at this moment. I watched Gracie’s maid of honor go by first, who was ironically, John. I watched all of my sisters including Kelsey walk past in lovely blue dresses. They were each holding my groomsman’s arms. They each split off from where I was standing. I heard the man by the piano start playing that song I have been waiting to hear as I watched everyone stand up to watch my bride and her dad walk down the aisle. Damn, did she look pretty or what? She was wearing a white dress with ribbon on the stomach of it. Her veil was covering her face, so I couldn’t really see her. She still looked good for a woman who is 8 months pregnant. She was halfway down the aisle and I was anticipating every second. I was definitely ready to marry this woman.

She got up to wear we were and the preacher asked, “Who gives this woman away?” Her dad looked at me without any hesitation and said, “I do, sir.” Gracie’s dad kissed Gracie on the cheek before turning off to his seat. Gracie took her hand into mine as she stepped up towards the preacher. The preacher opened the service by telling the people in the church that he was glad to see them and the importance of witnessing our marriage. Later on the preacher asked both Gracie and I if we were going to comfort, honour and protect each other and to be faithful to each other for as long as you both shall live. We of course said yes.

Facing each other,  Gracie and I took our hands in each other and we both said our vows, which consisted of, “To have and to hold from this day forward; for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death us do part.” Then, the ring bearer brought up the rings and I took Gracie’s off of the pillow.

I looked her in the eyes and repeated what the preacher said, “With this ring, I thee wed.” She grabbed the ring off of the pillow also and said the exact same thing.

The best part of the day was when the preacher finally said, “You may kiss the bride.” I picked her veil up and I took Gracie into a long romantic kiss as everyone in the church started clapping. We ran out of the church smiling. We got in the car to go to the reception. I turned to Gracie and I put my hand on her stomach. “We are a family now.” I said. She looked at me and She scrunched up her face. She looked so adorable. A leaned my ear against my wife’s stomach. It was so weird saying that word. Wife.I could hear water moving around in Gracie’s stomach, or something like it and it sounded weird and precious at the same time. The weird part was the watery sound, and the precious part was knowing that I was alive to see my baby grow. I felt a gush of water hit the floor of the car. Gracie looked at me with the wildest expression that I have ever seen. It was either happiness, or pain. Either way, I am pretty sure that my baby is coming into the world today. I tapped the driver on his shoulder and told him to change his route from the reception hall to the hospital. I handed him a 100 dollar bill. He just gave me an O.K look and I turned to look at Gracie. She was gripping my tux as she screamed out in pain.

“Check to see if I am dilated.” She said and I didn’t know what in the HELL she was talking about. I looked at her with that expression. She knew what I was thinking and said, “Look down there. See if there is an opening.”

I lifted up her wedding dress and I slid off her underwear. I saw a little opening in her ‘area.’ I shook my head yes and she started to panic. Hell I was about to too. I just got married to the woman I love, and now? My little daughter or son is going to be born on probably the same day. I leaned up and i kissed Gracie's forehead after putting her underwear back on. We pulled up to the Emergency Room Entrance after maybe five minutes after her water broke. I opened the car door and i ran inside. I grabbed the closest wheelchair, then brought it outside. I pushed it up the side of the car where she was and I opened her door. I leaned in, then I picked her up out of the car and sat her in the wheelchair. I pushed her inside of the hospital doors, knowing that i was going to be a daddy soon.

I walked up to the desk and explained to the nurse, "We need a room instantly, my wife is dilated, and her water broke." The woman looked at me and said the stupidest thing ever. "Take a seat." I grabbed the pens off the desk and i threw them against the wall. "WHAT PART OF 'IN LABOR' DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND?" The security guard came up to me and told me that i had to calm down. I pushed passed him, pushing Gracie to a seat. She looked really sleepy, but she was fine two minutes ago. I saw blood coming out of her 'area' and I started panicking. I pressed the emergency call button on the wall, and soon afterwards, nurses flooded around me.

"WHATS WRONG?" the male nurse asked. I lifted up her wedding dress and i showed him that she was bleeding. I then explained about her water breaking, etc. He pushed her into the elevator along with 3 other nurses. Two male nurses were holding me back and the doors closed. I tried to break through the two guy's grip but it wasn't working. I couldn't use my wolf stregnth because it is too strong. I started crying as i sat down in one of the waiting room chairs. I took my phone out of my pocket and i handed it to one of the nurses.

"Call Brent. Tell him that she's in labor. Then call John. Tell him the same thing." i said. I couldn't call them. Not like this. I slowly stood up as i snuck past one of the nurses and ran to the elevator. The male nurse who wasn't holding my phone tackled me. I started to cry so hard that i couldn't even get out a word. I felt a pinch in my arm, and i realized....I was tranquilized with silver bullet powder. I now had a feeling that this guy didn't work here.
