(Third POV)

Everyone was freaking out. Where had Aphmau and Katelyn gone? They disappeared into thin air. No trace was left behind. No one could even teleport to them. The two were just, gone.

(Katelyns POV)

Me and Aphmau awoke in a room. One light was hanging over us, its dim light flickering. "You're awake. Finally." Ivy's voice came from behind us. I looked around widely. Then my eyes came to rest on Janice and Ivy as they walked to the front of us. Janice and Ivy had...changed. They weren't like this before. Sure, they were bullies, but wouldn't do this. Something had happened to them, something that wasn't good. "Hahaha!" An evil sounding laugh came from the ceiling. A speaker was hanging from above. This voice sounded familiar. Ethan. He walked into the room with Vincent just behind. "Go away Vincent. You too Ethan." I growled. Aphmau just sat, confused. "And who are you to tell us what to do?" Vincent asked, his voice cold. Ethan's eyes were filled with fury, like an icy fire. Then Aphmau gasped, recognition in her voice as she spoke. "Vincent! You killed me! You made me the Marionette!" She snapped. Wings formed on her back and she got a sword. The wound that she had was gone and she stood without hesitation. Running toward them, she readied her sword to swing at her victim. But Vincent knocked her out of the way easily. The ring on her finger fell but she caught it. Then the ring turned into a mask and Aphmau put it on. I stared in amazement, not being able to get up. Everything changed about my friend, she was very skinny wearing all black. The mask that was attached to her face was white. Two eye holes were black, the mouth was a very large smile, with black filling it. Bright red circles were on the corners of her mouth. The mask seemed happy all except the purple streaks that ran from the eyes. They looked like tear stains, like someone had been crying when wearing the mask. I couldn't move my eyes from her as she swung at Vincent, this time Vincent pulled Ethan in front of him and the blade slashed Ethan in the stomach. The retired juror fell to his knees. Then I broke free of the ropes that held me and slammed Vincent against a wall. I couldn't say that Ethan didn't deserve what happened, but he wasn't truly evil. I could see it in Ethan's eyes that Vincent had been using him. "Is that the beat you've got?" Vincent snarled, and ran back to us with two animatronics following from behind. Ivy and Janice had been watching it all from a wall. They had fear in their eyes but kept laughing at the scene. I ran at them, only to find I was somewhere else. I saw Laurance and Jeffory looking around. Everyone else that was there was looking frantic. This was where I was before I went to that field. The field that had beauty but darkness. The field where Ivy and Janice found us, just to bring me and my raven-haired friend to death.
