(Third POV)

The tree girls finished their breakfast. Nicole decided to take a walk, and Aphmau and Salenia decided to join her. Unfortunately, this walk wouldn't end well. And Salenia knew it.

(Aphmau's POV)

We started to walk. A cool breeze came, and then left. I was worried. How long would I have left with Nicole? How long would I have left with Salenia? I was afraid, if they died, who would I turn to? As we walked, we went by and ally. I heard a gunshot right when we were at it, and saw Nicole collapse in front of me. "Nicole!" I shrieked. Salenia pulled me into a hug and whispered "You can't do anything..." I cried, looking at Nicole's body, my friends life ebbing away at each second. Then, a moment later, I called an ambulance. Once the ambulance arrived, they took Nicole to the hospital. Salenia took me to her home, at the edge of the woods where the rose was. Her house was beautiful. It had a black roof with white wood as the walls. The door was white with a black handle. She took me inside. All her furniture was black with white flooring. The only piece of furniture that had color was a chair in the middle of an empty room. The rest of the room was black. "Follow me." Salenia guided me away from the black room and to a different room. The walls were purple in this room, and the furniture was white. "This is your room," Salenia explained. She had a glint in her eye as she said the words, as if she knew this would happen. I nodded and walked into the room. When I walked in all of the furniture turned violet.

Later that day we went to the hospital to check on Nicole. We went to the the front desk. "We're here to see Nicole Von Ronsenburg." Salenia said. The man at the desk shook his head and murmured, "I'm sorry.." Tears were about to explode from my eyes. I ran out of the hospital and out of the building. Salenias house wasn't far from the hospital so I just ran there. When I reached my room I fell to my knees and just cried. All of the walls and furniture turned black and gray. "You can't just run from your problems." Salenia panted from the doorway. "Why not? Salenia, I'm falling apart. You know what's going on, don't you? But you won't tell me? Please. Salenia I'm begging you." I cried out. "I......I can't..." My friend looked at the ground. "Why?" I stared at her. "Its against the rules." She said simply, turned, and walked away. My friend, she knew what was going on, but she didn't say a word. Can I really trust her?
