I'm bad at keeping up with schedules... But please don't doubt it for a second, we are still constantly working and thinking about this. We are ranked again and I couldn't be happier. Thank you for giving our story a chance. We are going to start giving chapter dedications to those that guess the anagrams hidden around ❤️‍ Just to add it a little more fun. Napped Kid has over 60 pages in a word already, -- counting this chapter, and I couldn't be happier. Around 3K words solely for this chapter, a pretty exciting one may I say myself!!

Happy reading, xx

"Alright. I don't know what to wear." She breathed into the phone, going through her wardrobe desperately.

"Are you kidding me, Inna?" Dylan sighed.

"No."

"You are asking me what you should wear? How could I know that?"

"You aren't cooperating." She stopped in a light brown blouse. That wasn't so bad. With a light jacket she wouldn't be too cold. Autumn weather was still behaving although winter was coming. "And I need something else as well."

"Oh, no..."

"Could you take me there?" She pleaded. The blouse was good enough, she could use her favorite jeans as well with it, those that got bigger around her ankles.

"No."

"Please. I wanted to walk there but he picked a place that's pretty far away."

"Why's he not taking you there?"

"He offered. But I preferred to arrive alone. You know, so I could leave if I wanted as well? I could take the subway but I'm already late."

"Ugh, you are so annoying."

"Thank you."

"I'm on my way there, you better be ready."

"Thank you. Thank you. Thank you."

With a low grunt he hung up the phone. Nina smiled softly even though she was nervous. Cameron invited her to a little ice cream shop he loved in the other side of the Brooklyn bridge. She googled it, it was a lovely place but is was a little far from her little apartment Without a car, Nina depended mostly of New York's public transportation. Or Dylan's niceness to take her everywhere, of course.

She was running out of time and she knew for a fact that Cameron was already in his way there.

She grabbed her bag, checking if she had everything she needed. Few minutes later her phone buzzed, signalling she had a new message.

Lyd: I'm outside.

Running down the stairs, she reached Dylan's car in no time. Not wanting to be any more late.

She opened the car's door and stepped inside. As soon as the door was closed, Dylan speeded out of the street.

"Where's the dumbass taking you?"

"Hey! He was your friend first. Since when he's a dumbass?" She looked at him and laughed.

Dylan rolled his eyes, faking annoyance. "Since him taking you out means I have to be your chauffeur."

"Oh shush you, as if you were doing something more important."

"Well, The X Files do was playing when you called..." He smirked.

Nina felt the need to facepalm a bit. Not hiding her smile at her best friend being his silly self, "Oh my god, why I'm not even surprised? Get a life, dude." She glared mockingly at him. "He's taking me to a place called The Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory... Right after the Brooklyn Bridge. Apparently the idea was to walk a little over there as well."
