The Day Before

We all Jump out of our seats as a natural reaction to the loud sound. Jason just smirks. Wow. what a jerk I think to myself. We all file out into the halls where the sprinklers are going off. All the *cough* sluts *cough* of the school are huddled in one group screaming cause their makeup is running. I just laugh and look up at the sprinklers, open my arms,and embrace the  water. I can feel everyone's stares but I don't react. By now I am soaked but I am the happiest I have been in a while. As we all go outside it is raining harder then it is inside. I start running away from my class, despite my teachers protests, towards the field. Some people follow me out of curiosity. I am known to keep my cool and be level headed in even the worst of situations. I look over to a jock and yell

"HEY BUDDY! DO YOU HAVE YOUR FOOTBALL??" His face says he is shocked but  he passes it to me.

"GO LONG" I yell. The guy who passed started running and I throw and expert spiral to him. He jumps and catches it only to slip and land a puddle. We start laughing.

"WHO WANTS TO PLAY A FRIENDLY GAME OF FOOTBALL IN THE RAIN?!" I yell to everyone. Most of the jocks come over. I divide the teams evenly and we start. By now everyone in the school has come to watch. There are about six girls including me playing so three on each side. The game starts and is over way to quickly. Some of the highlights were when one of the guys threw a pass from the 30 yard line all the way to the 20 yard line then the receiver got a touchdown and we all doggy piled him in a puddle. Everyone that was watching us had a great time! Even the principle was laughing. Since everyone was drenched they decided for everyone just to get the rest of the day off. So on my walk home I thought about what had happened today. I met some new friends, had lots of laughs and enjoyed the rain. I put the spare key in the lock since my stuff was all at school in my locker still.

"Mom! I'm home!" I yell through our house. Most would say we lived in one of the larger houses but we only had it because my grandparents left it to my mother in their will. Me and my grandfather used to go fishing gin the rain, thus creating my love for the rain.

"In here sweetie" My mom yells from the kitchen. I walk into our large, modern day kitchen. The smell of fresh cupcakes hit me like a train.

"Whats with the cupcakes?" I ask my mom. My mom only makes cupcakes when something is happening.

"I just decided to make some." She says while taking a look at me.

"Dear"My mom asks "Why are you all wet".Then I remember what happened today for the third time making me smile.

"Wellll it all started when I got to school....." By the time I finished the events of today, we had iced the cupcakes and made home-made pizza for dinner. In case you are wondering, my mom is a Red Seal Baker and Chef. We cleaned everything up and headed to bed. Lying in my big King sized mattress with my big and fluffy purple and green blankets I reflected what happened today for the fourth and final time. I fell asleep with a smile on my face not remembering I had to do the Peer Counseling program tomorrow. Or that tomorrow would be the beginning of the worst semester of my life.
