Family Reunion

Recap:

"My full name is Tallia Daisy Gray, and Coach Grey is my father." I tell him while putting my things into my locker and checking my schedule seeing what class I have next.

The Story [][][][][][][]

Weeks have passed since I found out my father. I have constantly been begging him to come and see mom but he has to get approval from his general first. One gym class he calls me into his office during badminton.

"So I got a letter from my General today, I haven't opened it since I wanted you to be there when I did." After he finishes, he opens an eggshell white envelope. He clears his throat and reads

"Dear Blake, we have known each other a long time and since your news to us weeks ago, we have constantly been on lookout to see if they are still a threat. I have great news, they arn't! This means you are free to contact your wife and-" I didin't bother hearing the rest due to my screech of excitement that I release. I rush over to him and tackle him into a hug.

"I'm coming home sweetie" He tells me, stroking my hair. He let's me go back to class. All day I can't wipe the smile off my face. When I get home the smile is still there. I walk into the kitchen and greet my mom.

"Mother dearest." I tell her.

"Oh no, what do you want?" She says with a smile on her face.

"I have someone I want you to meet. He is a teacher at my school.." I trail off batting ym eyelashes at her. Her smile fades and she continues with her work, making cupcakes.

"No, you know I still love your father." She says moving her finished cupcake aside.

"Please mom, do this for me. Trust me. Plus he will be here in an hour" I tell her. She stops and her head snaps up with a hard glare on her face.

"Fine. Finish these cupcakes while I get ready." She tells me, obviously not happy with me. She rushed up the stairs and I hear the shower turn on. I put my music on and start copying the design on the other cupcakes. Before I know it my mom comes downstairs. I almost drop the cupcake. She looks amazing in a plain black skirt, a flowy purple top with flowers all over it, and some pretty black knee-high boots.

"Mom, you look amazing." I tell her. Her hair is curled to perfection, she has light makeup only making her natural beauty stand out more.

"Thanks, how do the cupcakes look?" She asks coming over to where I am standing. She looks over them with a smile on her face.

"Looks like I taught you well" She says with a smile.

"Now you go get ready, he will be here soon." She says, shoeing me out of the kitchen. I run upstairs and throw open my closet. I find a pretty royal blue dress and matching heels. I lightly curl my hair and out soft blue eye shadow on. I make my way downstairs just as the door bell rings. I smile knowing that it is my dad. I slide down the last two steps on the railing, earning myself a glare from my mother. She walks over to the door and smooths out her skirt. She opens the door and is taken back.

"B-b-Blake? I-i-is-s that-t-t  you?" She asks a hand covering her mouth, shock written all over her face.

I know a quick update but it is a snow day and I wanted to update before I go to school at noon... SOooooo what do you think her reaction will be?
