Recap:

Mystery guys POV:

Tallia. Such a pretty name for a pretty girl. If only I talked to her longer. I could have at least gotten her number. I think to myself as I walk down the hall, back to my class. I sit through the rest of the day, distracted by her beauty. Oh her eyes. I wish I could talk to her for a longer time. But as soon as she came into my life, she was gone. I have a feeling this won't be the last time I see or talk to her.  I will find her again, and I will talk to her. I just know it. I have to, I might go crazy while waiting though, but I will.

I wake up early the next day, getting ready for my first day at the new school. I reluctantly drag myself out of bed towards the shower. Once I'm done everything in the shower I open the door letting the steam from the hot water escape into my room. I walk over to my closet my hair in a towel and hold the one around my body closed. I step into my closet and look around at what to wear. Everyone says first days set what people think of you. First impressions are everything. I grab a lacy bra and matching underwear and a pair of small wedges heels, light blue skinny jeans and a flowy light pink shirt. I pair it with a black leather jacket and let my hair out of the towel. I let it fall down my back in my natural waves. I sit at my makeup table and get to work. When I say that don't get the impression I wear a lot of makeup. I take my time putting a thin line of green eyeliner and mascara on along with my glasses I put my lip gloss in my pocket to put on after I eat some food. I walk downstairs to be greeted by my mom in the kitchen.

"Morning dear" My mom greets me happily after looking at what I am wearing.

"Morning mommy, what's for breakfast?" I ask her trying to avoid the conversation of my clothing choices. She waves her hand at the food that she lays down in front of me. Waffles, or to be more specific, her famous Belgium waffles. I feel my mouth drop and she chuckles slightly. I get out of my chair and rush over to her, embracing her into a hug.

"I love you mom!" I tell her as I let her go and go back to my seat digging into my food.

"Love you too, now hurry up, you need to get to school." My mom tells me. My mouth is to full for me to reply with so I just nod my head. Once I finish I put my plate in the sink and grab my keys and bag.

"By the way, you look beautiful." My mom tells me as I rush out the door. I hop into my truck, plugging my music in and selecting a random song. Gas Pedal starts playing and I skip it. The next song to come on is Wreaking ball comes on and I sing softly under my breath, reaching the school only a few short songs after that. I pull into the school, finding a parking spot easily. I shut my truck off and unplug my iPod and stuff it along with my headphones into my pocket. I apply a quick layer of lip gloss before stuffing it back into my pocket.  I plug the headphones into the iPod and put my songs on shuffle while putting the right headphone into my ear. Wake me up is playing. I bob my head slightly to the music while getting my bag and hoping out of my truck.

I sling my bag over my shoulder while looking around. I see some of the kids in groups whispering and trying to subtly point at me. I ignore it and walk into the school. I pull out my papers I got yesterday from my bag and take a look at it. My first class is Art in room 204. I notice that most of the classrooms start with a one on the first floor. I look around trying to spot a staircase.

"Um, are you looking for something slut?" I hear from behind me. I turn around looking for the person who has the snobby voice I just heard.

"Yeah, the stairs." I say like it was the most obvious answer.

"Well I don't like the look of you. So let's get one thing straight hoe. The is my school. I am the top dog here. Me and my boyfriend rule the school so don't bother acting all innocent like you are, you just look pathetic." She tells me taking a step closer with every second word till we are so close I can see her giant pores. The song changes to master chief vs Leodonnis in my ear. I take it as a sign to say what I am thinking.

"Look here, I just got here about two minutes ago. You don't know my name let alone my story. I won't purposely take 'your spot' or 'your boyfriend' and a tip, try to cover up those pores of yours. They look like mini craters on the moons surface. Now if you will excuse me I am going to look for the stairs." I say turning on my heel and taking a few steps forward before she grabs my wrist stopping me.

"I don't like your attitude you little skank. I am not afraid to make you an outcast." She tells me like it is something to be afraid of.

"April. Calm down, I'll take her off your hands." I hear a male voice say from behind Me. From the way her eyes light up I get the idea it is one of her boy toys. I turn around to be greeted by a guy that is similar in shape from the guy yesterday.

"Thanks babe but I got her." She says with a fake sickeningly sweet voice.

"no it's fine, I'm, heading upstairs anyway." I see her smile falter a little but she covers it up. She lets go of my wrist and steps closer to him so she is right up in her face.

"Okay Jake, maybe we could hang out later?" She asks as if trying to seduce him but ending up failing and sounding like a smoker who can barely talk. I see a hint of disgust on his face but he covers it up and steps back a little from her.

"Maybe, now we better go before we are late." He says while grabbing my arm and walking us down the hall, around a few corners and up the stars. Once we reach upstairs, he lets go of my arm and turns to face me.

"So what class do you have first?" He asks trying to make conversation.

"Art." I tell him changing the song on my iPod from Blurred Lines to the song that I wrote. He sees the other headphone dangling and plugs it into his head. He bobs his head along to the beat of the song. I watch him for his reaction. Once the song finishes he turns to me and drops the headphone.

"Who sang that song?" He asks me as we continue walking down the hall.

"Um. I uh, did." I tell him, my slight stutter coming back.

"Wow, you have talent. Well here is the art room. I'm in computers right next so I'll pick you up after class and show you to your next one." He tells me with a smile. I smile back, thanking him. I open the door and walk into the room. The day goes by quickly, with Jake showing me to my next two classes. By the time lunch rolls around I am invited to sit with Jake and his friends at their table. That April chick is there with her boyfriend. When I sit down she glares daggers at me then turns to Jake who is sitting on my left.

"Jake, what is she doing here?" She asks tilting her head to the side, trying to sound sweet even though her boyfriend has his arm around her.

"Oh, well she is new and I invited her to sit with us. Is there a problem?" He asks her with one eyebrow raised, almost challenging her. She throws her head back and laughs, making me use all my will power no to cover my ears.

"Oh of course not silly!" She says slapping his arm slightly. Everyone looks up behind me and waves at someone. I would have to if I wasen't busy eating my chicken burrito my mom packed me for lunch.

"Who's that?" I hear a few feet behind me but I ignore it and take another bite, savouring the taste.

"Oh, this is the new girl." I hear Jake tell the mystery guy behind me.

"Well tell her she is in my spot." That voice. I know that voice. I swallow my food and turn around. His eyes widen when he looks and recognition washes over his face.

"You" He says

"You" I reply

"Bro? How do you know her?" I hear Jake ask. Mystery guys face goes bright red. He lifts his arms to scratch his neck.

"This is the girl I was telling you about last night. The one I saw in the hall" He says looking down in embarrassment.
