dear s,

i am bursting with agitation. it would be impossible to count how many times i thought "i literally cannot even" today.

first, i had a massive grade 10 pH lab thrown onto my shoulders by another oh-so darling lab student who, first of all, didn't have the courtesy to let me know ahead of time that he wasn't going to be there to do it with them, and second of all, didn't inform me where perhaps the most important part of the  lab - the LITMUS STRIPS!!!! - were to be found (i didn't find them).

so after running around the chem lab for 30 mins first class, i finally gave in and hunted down the substitute teacher to ask when the grade 10s would be coming in...turns out they aren't going to come into the lab until thursday...

I cannot even.

so that was a great start to my morning. *rolls eyes*.

[: rant :]

i have a serious problem with other {male} individuals acting like they own the chemistry lab. normally, i would be the bigger person and just mentally flip him the finger, or the backwards 'peace' sign. it just bothers me to the furthest extent that he...crap...they have the audacity to take on all the grade 9,10,11 labs and leave me and my other 2 lab comrades to do the grade 7,and 8 labs...

just because the younger grades don't have labs that involve solutes and solvents beyond sugar, salt and water, its as if he is thinks he's too good for them. like he can only do labs for the higher grades because he's too smart.

{he doesn't even clean up the labs he does...I have to clean up the beakers and flasks and countertops...is it because i'm a girl? am i not good enough to mix chemicals?

listen here, bitchass, i am not your nor anyone else's housewife. just because i have ovaries does not mean i cannot mix chemicals}

i literally cannot even.

*takes deep breath*

[: rant complete :]

well, i feel much better now.

i miss you even though i just saw you like 57 minutes ago.

and to the readers (hello, are there any??), if you can relate to anything that i mentioned, whether it be a lovely fellow student that bugs the pants off you, or just having a horrible day which started with a horrible morning, comment your own experiences below.

soph and i could both use a chuckle.

much love&appreciation,
