dear s,

~~confusion~~

soooo, i thought s was supposed to write a letter next, but, evidently, i was incorrect.

[ my apologies, fellow wattpad(ians?)(ers?) ]

anywho, for the past few days i have been slaving over my course selection for uni (which opened today at 10a.m. and holy moly it was stressful {more after}). also, the fact that we have a chemistry test tomorrow and a biology test friday has been looming ominously over my head. it shall not be good. i can feel it.

otherwise, i'm feeling quite scatterbrained so i'm just going to go where my thoughts take me:

this thought came to me the other day, when our bio teacher said "cumbersome" (which he says quite often along with "the quick and dirty version" or "the meat and potatoes of.." much love for him.)

anywho, i know that "cumbersome" essentially means something along the lines of complicated, or inefficient... so basically all negative connotations, right?

well i cannot take that word seriously, you know why? because it reminds me of the word cucumber, which is a fruit? vegetable? that i quite enjoy eating. in fact, i find them delicious, so why on earth would i want to say a word that has negative connotations, if the stem of the word reminds me of something completely other?

silly, inconsiderate english language....

on another note: course selections

oh

my goodness.

i'd like to start off by saying that trying to find and arrange courses in time slots that fit and allow you at least a bathroom break at some point in the day is, pretty much, near impossible. if any of you are picking courses for university, my thoughts are with you, battle hard for those spots

the good:

in the fall, i don't have classes until 9:30a.m.

M/W/F i am done classes/labs at 3:30 with a two hour break during lunchtime

my BIO, BIOC, CHEM, and CALC labs are spread out throughout the week (bless)

my T/TH only have one class and 2 labs

i get to take ENGL in the winter !!!

i get to finally take PSYCH!!!

the bad:

i'm taking cal 1 (cries a little)

in the fall, my M/W/F start at 8:30a.m.

PSYC, BIO, PHYS, &CHEM are ALL IN A ROW FROM 8:30 TO 1:20 M/W/F and then i'm done (bc those are the ONLY times those courses are offered...wth? like honestly?)

the fact that the only courses i'm taking thought entire first year are BIOC, BIO, CHEM, ENGL, CALC, PHYS, & PSYC....

there is a VERY high chance i am going to bust my bum off in the summer learning more calc in order to prepare. as for the rest? well... bye bye 4.0 GPA....and scholarship.... tear

oh, i forgot

today, when i was picking my courses i had it all set up so that i would only need to press submit.. well... ha. .. that didn't happen.

apparently an system error occurred and IT DIDNT REGISTER ME FOR ANY CLASSES AND SAID I COULD NLY REGISTER AT 12:20 WHICH IS B.S. BC THEY TOLD ME 10....i think i remained reasonably calm during this time, even whilst watching my courses and desired times beginning to fill up (have you ever seen the SECRET deodorant commercial where a girl texts a guy "ilu<3" and all they see is the three dots in messenger saying they're typing and it says "ULTIMATE STRESS TEST"... well... i think my morning trumped that so called, "stress test" (and i was wearing DOVE deodorant).

i should add that i even stress ate s's banana bread....this is a big deal for me as i rarely even indulge.. or take it lightly in that case...........s can back me up on this rarity..

now, as i sit here drinking coffee, listening to my spotify and mentally preparing myself for studying for chem, all i can think of is show proud of myself i am for adequately dealing with today's stresses (not something i often do well).

i know i saw you a lot today but i still feel like i, well, barely saw you. i hope your day was not as stressed as mine.

to the readers, what is your most stressful situation to date? (this should be interesting).

much love,

{;L;}
