Sebastian's House

"I love you in a place where there's no space and time
I love you for my life, you are a friend of mine
And when my life is over
Remember when we were together
We were alone and I was singing this song to you." --Donny Hathaway

"Baby. I made you something to eat." Jurnee said, handing Sebastian a plate.

"Thanks baby. Sit down next to me, let's talk.." Sebastian said, putting the plate on the table.

"Baby, what's wrong ?" Jurnee asked, concerned.

Sebastian's POV:

First off, as you all know. My sister in law and nephew passed away on the the 7th of December. Stephen has been upset ever since then and been having thoughts about killing himself. The family has fallen apart, Lamar is out of jail. And I'm getting ready to reveal a secret no one knew, other than Stephen. Once I tell Jurnee, I already know she's going to be pissed off and upset and I wouldn't blame her. A lot of people make mistakes. I definitely make mistakes and when I do, I hate to have to keep it away from my girlfriend/baby mom so I have to tell her.

"You know I love you right ? And would hate to keep anything away from you.?" I asked her, holding her hand.

"Of course I do. And I love you too. But what's wrong ? Are you hiding something?" Jurnee asked.

"Sadly. Yes. Jurnee, I've been on the street lately. Selling cocaine, heroine, weed , mostly drugs. To help us with the bills and for us to eat. I lost my job 2 months ago. I'm sorry that I failed you Jurnee." I said, disappointed at myself.

Jurnee was then quiet, as her eyes were tearing up and then she slapped me.

"Not only did you fail me but you failed your whole family ! Sebastian !! Why ?!?" Jurnee asked, not wanting to be anywhere near him.

"What do you mean why?!? How do you think I got all this money ?!? Stacking up in the closet and dressers! What did you expect ! I did it for us Jurnee! You should be happy . And I apologized if you wasn't . Why can't you just take it as that???" I snapped.

"How did you get the drugs Sebastian?!?" Jurnee asked, scared.

"One of my guys. Jurnee , I did this for us. It's not like I'm smoking it or anything ... I'm just selling it ." I told her.

"How would I know??" Jurnee asked, crying.

"Because I'm telling you . What you don't trust me??" I asked her.

"F**k no ! I can't believe anything right now. Why didn't you been say something about your job ??? You hiding sh*t ! What the f**k?! I thought we had a bond and a promise to never keep anything from each other." Jurnee said, disappointed.

"Baby. I said that I'm sorry. What else do you want from me?" I asked.

"I want the truth! I can't believe you were hiding this from me for 2 months. NOT 2 DAYS! NOT 2 WEEKS! 2 MONTHS!!!!!" She yelled, "you know what, since you like hiding things for 2 f**king months.. I'm going away for 2 months plus! And I'm taking our son!" Jurnee said, storming out of the house.
"You can't take him away from me. That's my son too! Don't put our son in this situation yo!" I yelled, running after her.

"Goodbye Sebastian!" Jurnee said, trying to get into the car.

"Wait Jurnee!" I grabbed her wrist.

"Get the f**k off of me!" Jurnee screamed, frustrated and crying, pulling away.

She then dropped her keys and broke down, starting to cry.

"Baby. It's ok. I said I'm sorry. It was for us, for the family." I bent down to where she was and I comfort her, holding her and making sure she calms down.

"I can't Sebastian! I can't ! I can't ! " She kept saying.

"Baby please forgive me... Please." I begged her, hoping that she forgives me.

"Let me go, I'm going to my mom's !" She pushed me off of her and got up, getting into the car. "Don't text me! Don't call me! I'm taking full custody of him! You keep all the shit that you gave me ! I don't want it ! " She yelled, and pulled right off.

At that point, I didn't know if I wanted to cry or punch something. What is life yo?! Lost my son! My girl ! My sister in law! What's next? The whole family ?!?
