SundayThursday was amazing and I'm so glad that Krista is enjoying church and the people that go to my church. I get ready for church and head out to pick up Krista. My dad is working so I have to take Ricky with me. "You have to sit in the back." I tell him. "Why?" He asks
"Krista is coming."
"Oh....Krista. She's funny. She really thought she could beat me at my own game."
"So you like her."
"Yeah...she's cool."
"Great. Now get in. We can't be late for church"We picked up Krista and headed to church. Everything was going great. The praise and worship team played a couple new songs. For the worship song they sang my favorite song. I started singing along and I blocked out everyone else. It was just me and God.
You're a good good Father
It's who you are, it's who you are, its who you are.
And I'm loved by you
It's who I am, it's who I am, it's who I amI lifted my hands high. I couldn't help but tell my Father how good he really is. He is so amazing. He's always been there for me and He has taken care of me during the rough times. Most importantly, He loves me more than anyone on earth could and no matter how many times I mess up or make mistakes, He will always love me. There is just something so undeniable about the God I serve. He's so wonderful. I continued to worship.
When worship was over, I looked over at Krista. She had a puzzled look on her face similar to the one she had last week. "You okay?" I asked her. "Yeah. I'm fine." She said and smiled a little. I could tell something was bothering her but I have no idea what it could be. By the end of service she was fine. She was laughing and making jokes with Tori and Chris.
"Krista, didn't you want to see someone about working with the kids?" I ask her.
"Yeah...Pastor Mickie said to speak with....Linda I think her name is." She said.
"Ohhhh Ms. Linda is so sweet. I'll take you see her." Tori offered. With that, they linked arms and headed to the children's wing of the Church. In the mean time, I talked with Chris, Brian, and Shawn. "So...Krista." Chris said. "What about her?" I asked
"She's totally into you bro." He said.
"Stop playing. It's not like that. We're friends."
"Sure" He said making quotation marks with his fingers.
"Have you asked her on a date yet?" Shawn asked. I looked at him and froze for a second. Then I smiled at the memory of our first date.
"Yeah." I said
"My point has been proven! You're into her and she's into you." Chris says.
"I guess" I say and shrug my shoulders. Before they could say anything else about it I heard my name being called. I walked toward the sound of the voice. It was Mrs . Anderson. "Hi darling" she said with a smile. "Hi Mrs. Anderson."
"How are you sweet heart?" She asked.
"I'm good. How about you?"
"I'm well. I just wanted to say hi and check on you and your friend." She began to look around "where is she?"
"She's meeting with Ms. Linda about working with the kids."
"Oh that's wonderful. Tell her I said hi."
"I will."
"And if you need anything, don't hesitate to ask. Okay?"
"Okay Mrs. Anderson."
"I'll see you later sweety. Have a good day."
With that she walked away with little redheaded Levi in tow.Krista came back and we headed home. "So you met with Ms. Linda." I said more as a question than a statement. "Yeah. She said I have to go through some training first but I'll be working with the kids in no time. She also said I'll definitely be helping out with the summer camp."
"Oh that's great. Summer camp is amazing. You'll love it. People from other towns come here just to come to the summer camp we host."
"Oh wow. She was saying something about first week and second week but I didnt really understand what she was saying."
"Well fist week if for the Pre-school kids all the way up to 6th grade. Then second week is for the 7th graders through the 12th graders. Both weeks are incredible."
"I'm glad to hear. She said they are going to start preparing for it next week because it's the week after."
"Yeah...if you need a ride don't hesitate to ask."
"Okay." She said as we approached her apartment. She got out. "See you guys later." She said with a smile and walked toward her stairs.A/N
