"I've missed your face!"
"Kim we Skyped like every other day."
"It's not the same thing!"

Arms wrapped around one another Kim and Ansley stood on first beach hugging one another. It had been 3 years since the two best friends had been together. Ansley saw Rachel all the time seeing as they shared a dorm, but Kim was only even seen on her iPhone or laptop screen. Kim hated being 2
Years young than the two, but loved being friends with the two older girls. It did wonders for her confidence and self esteem.

"Kim...babe...I need...to breathe." Ansley choked out, while Kim, on her tippy toes, continued to squeeze her.

"Kim, let her go." Someone directed
"No." She whined shaking her head.
"Kim."
"Ugh fine." Kim kissed her teeth letting Ansley go reluctantly.

"Thank you." Ansley breathed out, playfully cutting her eyes at Kim.

Ansley did a double take her eyes widening when she realized who it was she was thanking.

"JareBear!" Ansley jumped on him wrapping her arms around his neck as he caught her.

"Hey Ans," he laughed hugging her back.

Jared was like another best friend to Ansley. They had gotten pretty close when she was dating Sam, way before him and Kim made it official. She kept in contact with him as well when she was gone; they still told each other everything, Jared calling anytime he upset Kim in the slightest for advice. Kim smiled at the two hugging it out. It didn't bother Kim that they were so close. In fact she loved that get best friend and man bonded so well. She knew about what he was, while Ansley didn't, so she knew he position in his life was permanent.

Making their way to the beach front, Jared following behind the girls carrying a basket and towels, Kim picked a nice place to settle down. It wasn't long before food from the picnic basket Kim packed - well really it was Emily - was being passed around and good conversation was being shared.

"Oh! Oh my God! you won't believe who showed up last night."

While Jared already knew Kim stared at her for a minute before her eyes went wide.

"He didn't?!" Kim squealed.
"Yes the hell he did."
"What happened?! Tell me!"
"Well, I get out the shower right? I'm in my dresser grabbing something to put on," Ansley gossiped. "and Sam just barges through my bedroom door. Invading all my privacy, thank God for the towel, and tries to hold a conversation."
"Wait, in just a towel?" Jared interrupted.
"Not important Jared."
"Meh, your ex in your bedroom while your practically naked." Jared made a face while Kim agreed.
"Seems pretty important"
"Are you- are you trying to double team me?" She cut her eyes at them. "No. Stop it."

Waving a finger in warning she took a sip of water before continuing her over dramatized story.

"As I was saying. He was in my bedroom. All in my space, disturbing my chi. You know who let him in?!"
"Who?" They humored her, though they knew he only person who could've done it was her father.
"My dad! betrayed by my own damn daddy. Anyway, the jerk claims he was coming to check on me pretending we were friends."

"Which you weren't," Kim chimed in.

"Which we weren't! So I kicked his ass out. You know, go! Get to steppin- What are you two looking at? I swear-" she turned around to see for her self since neither of her friends seemed to be paying her any attention.
