Grayson Levi
"How was your first week back to school Connor?" Mom asked me over dinner.
"Alright," I shrugged and played with my spaghetti. "What about you Cass?" Dad asks her.
"Awesome. I got into the cheer squad and I'm also head of the debate team," she says proudly. "Kiss ass," I snort.
"Connor!" Mom gasps. "What? She's just saying all those things so she can get her own car," I tell them.
"Maybe I am. What's so wrong about that? I only want my own car because you forgot to drive me home four times this week!" Cassie yells.
Yeah, I had that one coming.
"Is that true Connor?" Dad asks me. "I was busy alright?"
"What was so important that you couldn't drive Cassie home? What were you doing?" Mom asked me.
"What do you think he was doing? Playing Summer's driver. She's so important. Summer this Summer that," Cassie snorts.
"Why, you little bi—"
"I dare you to finish that sentence," mom cuts me off.
I glare and Cassie and she rolls her eyes.
"Connor, you should apologize to Cassie," mom says firmly.
"Sorry," I roll my eyes.
"So, you guys will get me my own car?" Cassie asks them. What a brat. "We'll think about it honey," mom tells her.
Yup. She's definitely getting a car.
After dinner, I helped mom with the dishes and headed up to my room.
Closing the door behind me, I fell down on my bed. Thank god it was the weekend.
Just then my phone buzzed. It was Grayson.
"Yo, where you at?" He asked me as soon as I answered. "Home."
"Stiles is throwing a party at his, you game?" He asks me. Another party? All I did this summer was go to parties.
"Nah, I'm going to skip this one," I sigh. "Fine. I'll tell the other's the plans off then," he says.
"Wait," he stops me. "What is it?"
