Steve's POV
I make sure to walk beside her and not let my guard down. Even if she hadn't shown any signs of violent behavior, she could still try to fight her way out of the tower. We walk into the elevator and takes it up to the Avengers floor.

We walk to her room. I unlock the door and hand her the key before I open.

"Ok, is this some sort of a joke? How is this any form of imprisonment?" She says and looks around the room with wide eyes. "I really hope it isn't too small." "Are you kidding? It's huge?" "Well, when you're finished looking around. The others are in the common area, waiting to meet you." "Why?" "Well, they got curious when they found out that you walked in the desert for almost two weeks." "Oh. Well, let's go then."

"Everyone, this is Y/N." I say. They all nod towards her. She let looked at all of them until her gaze stopped at Clint. I saw a glimpse of guilt in her eyes. She starts to walks towards Clint.

"Hey, uhm. Sorry for shooting you in your left butt cheek." She says. And everyone gasps. "Wait? That was you?!" "Yes, I did it on purpose, I was supposed to shoot you in the head, but I saw you help that family out of their crashed car, you kinda didn't deserve to die." She says to him. He takes out his hand to shake hers.

"So you're not mad?" "Why would I be mad? You walk right up to me and tell me the truth. I admire that." "Hydra didn't like it, but I blamed it on the wind, and when I went for the second shot, you had disappeared behind a building." "I hope it didn't get you into too much trouble." "Only 4 hours of torture, it was great they didn't stretch it further." She says. And everyone is looking at her with sympathetic looks. I feel sorry for her.

"Ok, you guys really need to stop that. You're looking at me like I'm some sort of lost puppy. I'm perfectly fine." She says. But no one says anything.

"So, do any of you have a joke?" She asks. Tony walks forward. "I have all the jokes in the world." "Please, tell me your humor is based on morbidity and sarcasm." She asks. We all sigh loudly and a mischievous smile appears on her face.

After hours of laughing and joking, the others all went to their rooms. I followed her to her room and I make sure she can always come next door(to my room) if there's anything she needs. I'm about to leave when I remembered something.

"Tomorrow, you have a physical test." "As long as it doesn't require me to kill anyone, I'm in." "Why?... Never mind, Hydra, got it." I say, remembering that she didn't want us to treat her like she could break.

"And, tomorrow... You're meeting Bucky, if you're up for it." "Who the hell is Bucky?" "Oh, right. You know him as the winter soldier." I try to hide my laughter, because I remembered Bucky saying the exact same thing. "Oh, his name sounds better than Hydrs's name for him... Uhm, goodnight Steve." "Goodnight Y/N."

(A/N— So I really hope you guys like this chapter. It's kinda a filler, but it's also necessary for future chapters.
