Steve's POV
I had just witnessed Y/N kill fifty men with just her hands. I couldn't believe how she could be so cold about it. Then it hit me.

"Y/N is not here, only The Crimson Ghost."

She didn't tell me that she didn't knew her own name, she told me that "Y/N" wasn't there, and that the Crimson Ghost was there, she knew she had to kill Elmer. And that Y/N and the Crimson Ghost was two different people. Like Bucky and the Winter Soldier.

I take my hand on her shoulder and give her an empathetic look. Her face and suit is filled with blood. We get back to the Quinjet.

Tony looks shocked when he see that Y/N is covered in blood and takes a towel and a bottle of water and hands it to her. Y/N looks confused but then she looks at her clothes and a sudden sadness appears on her face.

Your POV
You just now realize that you are drenched in blood. Steve looks at you with a understandable smile. "Uhm, can I borrow some clothes? Maybe a t-shirt?" You ask silently.

Steve takes your hand and bring you to the back of the Jet and reach down in a bag and pulls out a pair of sweatpants and a t-shirt and hand them to you and show the way to a small bathroom.

You take off the suit and start cleaning your body with the wet towel. You take the sweatpants on and when you're about to put the t-shirt on, you notice that you're bleeding from a long cut on your abdomen. You take the t-shirt over your head, but you keep it lifted over the cut so it doesn't stain. You then walk out and over to Steve.

Steve's POV
When Y/N walked over to me I noticed the cut, I grabbed a first aid kit and started to clean it. "It's not healing, you'll need stitches!" "Ok, I have never had stitches before." "Why isn't it healing?" She stopped to think for a moment, then her eyes lit up and a smile appeared on her lips.

"I think they used some sort of poison on the blade they cut me with." "Why is that a good thing? It's probably gonna give you a bad scar." She looked down at me as I was halfway done with the stitches.

"I am smiling, because, for once, I have a visible scar, a proof that I'm human, and a reminder that I can get hurt, and a reminder of the past me and the new me." She says.

I get surprised by her unbreakable positivity towards the world, again. I knew I had hurt her, and she's here, smiling. I knew she wasn't a monster. A killer? Yes, but that was a different person, the defensive side of her.

"Ok, you're all stitched up." "Thank you Steve, and thank you for making me realize something." "What's that?" "That I do not feel remorse about the bad people I kill. Because they're bad. You were wrong about Amanda, but I forgive you. Because no matter how hard Elmer tried, he couldn't wipe you away, do you know why?" She says smiling and tears in her eyes.

"No." "Because you weren't in my mind, you were in my heart, I am in love with you Steve. And I am fighting against my nature, because I want to be with you." When she said that I felt warm in my chest. I cupped her cheek and kissed her, with all the passion I had in me, and more.
