Steve's POV
As I slammed Y/N's door shut I was met with shocked and sad faces from Tony and Bucky. Tony takes a step forward. "Did she deny it?" "She didn't say a word, I guess I caught her off guard, and she didn't have any lies prepared." I say and go to my room.

When I close my door I feel angry, angry at Y/N. How could she? I could've understood if she had a few guns and knives, but she had more guns than a group of navy seals. I can't believe I fell for her. Stupid Steve!

My door flew open and before I could blink, Loki's hands were around my neck and my feet were hovering above the floor. He looks at me with anger and sadness. "WHAT DID YOU SAY TO HER?" Loki hiss. "I called her bluff, about pretending to be in love with me, and her sick attempt on making us feel sorry for her." Loki tighten his grip around my throat.

"You're a fool, if you do not think she care for you! She was afraid to tell you how she felt, she was afraid of being hurt, that you didn't feel the same, because that is the only thing she has experienced in her entire life, PAIN!" "But what about the weapons, huh? Why did she feel the need to defend herself?" Loki let's go of me and I fall to the ground.

"Ask yourself this; if you were tortured and beaten your whole life by an organization, and suddenly a new organization comes around to help you, would you put your guard down?" Loki ask and then he leaves.

I spent hours figuring out what to say to Y/N, if she would ever forgive me. If she would ever trust me again.

I finally man up to knock on her door. No answer. I knock a few times. I open the door to see if she's asleep. But the only thing I see is a letter on her bed.
