You wake up 6 in the morning. Hydra would've never let you sleep this long. You really hope you didn't overslept. You take a quick shower and find some clothes in a drawer that's your size. You walk out of your room and to the common area, where the kitchen is. But nobody is there.

You decide to make yourself some toast. Luckily, you had been out in the open when you were on assignments, and you knew how to use modern technology.

"Y/N?" You turn to see Steve walking into the kitchen wearing pajama pants. (Only the pajama pants, that is). "Yes, I slept in, I've never done that." "Slept in? It's 6:30 in the morning!" "Hydra would never let me sleep this long." "Well, I was a soldier, I'm an early bird too." He says.

You sit across from him and eat your toast in silence, while he reads the newspaper. Your eyes can't help but land on his chest. He's extremely well toned. He lifts his head up and notice your gaze.

"Enjoying the view?" "Yes, actually. Your muscles are perfectly symmetrical. You don't see that often." "Thank you, I think?" "Oh, it was a compliment." You smile.

After you've finished your breakfast and changed into some workout clothes, you follow Steve to the elevator. You walk into something that looks like a gym and a lab combined. Bruce welcomes you and connect some wires to your body. He explains that it records your heartbeats, blood pressure an what not. He then asks you to go up on a treadmill.

After running on their top speed (which wasn't much for you). He takes you a thin titanium plate covered in fabric, connected to wires that records the force of your punch. He tells you to not hold back.

You hit with your non dominant hand. And the score is 100/100 Bruce and Steve looks at you amazed.

When you hit the plate with your dominant hand. The force of impact causes the titanium plate to snap in half and breaks.

"I-I'm so sorry, I didn't mean for it to break." "Don't be sorry, this is truly amazing." "Why? I broke your equipment?" "No one have even done that, Steve had 98/100 on his dominant hand." "I have never really tested my strength before. But I just imagined that the plate was hydra." You say and lift up dominant hand and form a fist. But it hurts.

"I think I accidentally broke my hand, I'll give it a few hours to heal." "Well, you're not leaving until you have it checked out, at least let me put some soft-cast on it." "Ok, you're the doctor, but you don't have to." You answer him.

You turn to Steve, he looks a little shocked. "Steve, are you ok? Did i scare you?" "No, it's just, it's really amazing, how strong you are." "I don't think I've ever punched that hard before."

After the physical, Steve takes you the elevator and go down to your floor to meet with Bucky.

"Buck, this is Y/N, she's the one I told you about." Steve says. You look at Steve. "I really hope for your sake, that you only told him about the good stuff." You say jokingly.

"Hello Y/N, I'm James Buchanan Barnes, but you can call me Bucky." "Now I remember you, we trained together once, non of us wanted to loose, so after a few hours..." "... They separated us." Bucky says, finishing your sentence. "Well, it's nice to meet, the real you James." "Bucky." "Right."

You, Steve and Bucky talk for a long time. They tell you funny stories from the war, you tell them about how stuff work in this century, and tell them about how obsessed this generation is with their phones.

You feel tired and decide to go to bed. You say goodnight to both of them.

When your head meets the pillow you feel safe. A feeling you haven't had in years. The feeling makes you anxious, because there's only a matter of time till that feeling loose effect.

(A/N: so I really hope you like this chapter.
