The Next Morning

10 am

Waking up the next morning was a big shocker. It reminded that I was going to be a father. I don’t want to at least not yet. I love Leah and everything but I’m not ready to become a father. But I’m afraid to let Leah down. So I’ll just to keep it all to myself.

I got out of bed and went to the kitchen. I poured me vodka and sprite. I was really fed up with this shit. Suddenly, I heard footsteps coming in the kitchen. I looked up and it was Leah she smiled at me. I had no reaction cause my eyes were focused on her stomach. I can’t believe there’s a fetus growing inside there. I just couldn’t believe it and it was impossible.

“Chris are you ok?” Leah asked.

“Huh?” I said.

“I said are you ok?” Leah said.

“Yea I’m fine.” I lied.

“Chris are you worried?” Leah asked.

“No. Why would I be worried?”  I said.

“You’re drinking sprite and vodka.” Leah said.

“Oh. How did you know?” I asked.

“You always drink it whenever you’re worried or worse upset. Is there something wrong?” Leah said.

“Okay I’m not going to lie and say that everything’s ok but it’s not.” I said.

“What do you mean?” Leah asked.

“I’m not comfortable with you being pregnant. I don’t want to have children especially not with you……shit!” I said.

“Are you serious?” Leah said.

“I’m sorry but that’s how I feel.” I said.

“Well you shouldn’t be here. I’m having this baby with or without your help.” Leah said.

“So you’re not going to have an abortion.” I said.

“Fuck that! I’m not going to kill an innocent life cause you fucking said so. I’m my own woman.” Leah said.

“So this is how it ends.” I said.    

“I guess so.” Leah said.

“Leah you can’t do this. We’re better than this.” I said.

“I would appreciate if you would leave like right now.” Leah pointed.

“But I……” I was interrupted.

“Leave now!” Leah shouted.

I grabbed my jacket and sneakers and headed out the door. I gave Leah a kiss on her forehead and slammed the door. I knew that this was going to be hard; but I can’t really do this anymore. Leah is too emotionally damaged to handle a relationship right now. I guess I’m just going to have to move on and not worry about Leah and my unborn child. I went home and relaxed.

I couldn’t believe this shit! Chris walked out on me and our unborn child. I just wished that he was honest with me before. He betrayed me and just used me. I can’t believe this. I should just move on and never forgive ever again. I love Chris but what he’s done is so unforgettable. I don’t want to waste my time and cry over his ass. He doesn’t deserve my tears. I pulled myself together after all the anger and stayed at home.

Hours Later………

I was too upset to be by myself. I called Nicole to come over cause I needed someone with me. I was too upset to be alone. Nicole is the best when it comes to my feelings; she gets me through life whenever I feel worthless. That’s why she’s my best friend; maybe even a sister. Minutes later, Nicole showed up wondering what happened.

“What happened?” Nicole said.

“Chris left me and I’m pregnant.” I said.

“What? So I’m going to be an aunty.” Nicole said.

“Yup. Plus, he said he wasn’t comfortable with me being pregnant. He said he didn’t want to have children; not with me that is.” I said.

“That bastard. So what he’s just going to abandon you and your unborn child.” Nicole said.

“Pretty much. I don’t want to have an abortion cause I’ll be killing a life. I love this baby and I’m not having that.” I said.

“Well what are you going to do?” Nicole asked.

“I don’t know. I mean I have no one to help through this. But I’ll figure it out.” I said.

“Ok, that’s not acceptable.” Nicole said.

“What?” I said.

“You can’t go through this alone cause the baby daddy is a deadbeat. So I’ll help you. I’m your best friend and I love you.  I don’t want you to go through shit like this alone. I’ll even let Tyga and Mijo help as well.” Nicole said.

“Oh my god! Thank you so much.” I said giving her a hug.

“You’re welcome and don’t worry you’ll have the support you need.” Nicole said.

“Ok. Just give me 3 months and I’ll let you know if anything comes up.” I said.

“Ok. Well I’ll see you later.” Nicole said.

“Ok and thank you.” I said.

“Your welcome.” Nicole said.

(Sorry I haven't uploaded in a while. Been really distracted lately and I've been really bored about this story. So I have four chapters left and it's off to my Tyga story.)
