*Jason POV*
I was working in my dorm after practice. The first game of the season was coming up and I was busy trying to come up with new plays. Football is a big part of my life, but I can't play it because my family has a history of bruising easily, and my mom doesn't want me to get hurt. The next best thing was serving as a student coach. I knew the first game was going to be tough to win because we were going to be fighting the Olympus Prep Warriors, our biggest rivals. I knew however that game played out it would impact the rest of the season.
I was startled when I heard a knock at the door. I got up and opened it to see Narcissus.
"Sorry I forgot my key," he said brushing past me. Narcissus was one of the two roommates I had, along with Actaeon. Narcissus went over to his desk and began organizing his homework, stealing glances into his mini mirror.
"Hey I was going to grab some chicken from Harpies Cafe. Do you want me to pick anything up for you?" I asked, politely. Narcissus didn't respond, he just kept staring at himself. I opened the door to leave, when it revealed Echo.
"Hey, I was wondering if Narcissus was here?" she said, shyly.
"Yeah, but he's a little preoccupied," I answered.
"Oh that's okay I won't be long," she said. I stepped out of the doorway to let her pass.
*Andromeda POV*
I was hastily putting on my make up, working to blend my concealer to give me that sculpted look. Io and I were getting ready to go to our first party of the year. Zeus had invited her to come, and he told her he could bring anyone she wanted. Namely me. I had on my new jean shorts with lace accents and an Aztec printed tank top that was lose enough that it was casual, but tight enough to show off my curves. I had pinned a few feathers in my hair and I was ready. I was soaking up my last night of freedom, because tomorrow I was planning on asking Perseus on a date, and eventually progress somewhere else.
"Should we really be going? I mean I haven't seen him since summer. What if he doesn't even recognize me?" Io asked nervously.
"You'll be fine. You look gorgeous, how could Zeus not recognize you?" I teased. Io did look good. She had on a T-shirt dress that went down to the middle of her calf. It was white with a blue paisley pattern. She had on plain black leggings underneath and a pair of strappy sandals.
"If you say so." We started walking out. Zeus said he would have a means of transportation to get us to his apartment. True to his word, a small black town car was waiting outside the dorm building. We ran towards it making ourselves comfortable in the back seat. The driver that was waiting left and began towards the other side of town. We went from passing through the commercial side towards a more suburban and natural part of town. We pulled up and we could hear the music coming from inside. We found the stairs and knocked on the door to his apartment. A tall lanky teen with a baggy shirt and jean shorts opened the door. He had oily black hair that was slicked back off his face, revealing a line of pimples across his forehead. He held a plastic cup of what I could only assume was some alcoholic beverage, because of the red streaks in his eyes.
"Heyyyy pretty ladies, commme on in," he said, slurring some of his words. We stepped in and saw a bunch of unfamiliar faces. There were some people playing a drunk game of Twister. Others who didn't want to drink had found a spot on the couch watching an old karate movie. Io squealed when she noticed Zeus. I had to say Io had taste.
Zeus had wavy blonde hair that was combed to one side with the other shaved to look like a lightning bolt. He had stormy gray eyes that had flecks of gold. He was tall with bulging muscles, that clung to his muscle shirt. He was wearing a pair of plain gray board shorts that showed off his tanned legs. He looked over and when he saw Io, his eyes lit up. He walked over, and wrapped an arm around Io's shoulders. She blushed, but not before sharing a smile with Zeus.
"How's life been?" Io asked, nervously.
"Oh fine. It wasn't like summer though. I really missed you. I was upset when I wasn't able to say good-bye," Zeus said, sweetly.
"I missed you a lot too," Io replied. Zeus led her away to show her around. I decided to grab myself a beer. I took a chug while listening to a group of guys joking around. Soon I grabbed another and another until it was difficult to remember how many I had. I felt my eyes rolling and and myself tripping over myself. I felt a hand catch me.
"No need to take a tumble beautiful lady." It was the same guy who had opened the door, although he didn't seem as gross now that I took another look at him. "My names Dionysus."
"Andromeda."
"Well, Andromeda follow me," Dionysus said, whispering in my ear, the smell of beer on his breath.
"Why?" I asked, confused.
"Lets just say that I know how to have ... a good time," Dionysus said, almost out of breath. I giggled. Was this boy flirting with me. I offered him my hand and he took it pulling me towards the hall and stairs. Once we were alone, he pushed me against the wall. He planted rough kisses on my lips. Kisses that were warm and cold, right and wrong. He wrapped his arms around me and I didn't stop him.
