Maya' POV:
Me and Riley continue to sit at the newly refurbished bay window in silence. "Peaches.....?" Riley said. "Yes?" I replied....."do u still like him?" She questioned..... She was referring to Lucas.....I sat there thinking how could she even ask that? Ofcourse I still like him is she that conceded...? She's not the only one with feelings...In fact she hasn't made anything better, she's actually made things worse by not being there for me and making things awkward between us. I'm not mad or anything but she could give some support I just wish she didn't hide her feelings till New Years.. As I tune back in from my thoughts I answer wearily "yep" "do you still like him?" I questioned, already knowing the answer...."yea" she replied. We sat there in silence for 5 minutes until I said "goodnight riles" "goodnight peaches" and with that I went out the window.
Riley's POV:
As maya left out the window I continued to sit there and think about all of today's events. I start to drift off and think about Lucas and us actually being together.... Don't get me wrong I want Maya to be happy but I want him to be with me sooo bad! He was my first kiss And they haven't kissed in general so I feel like me and him are closer. Even though Maya thinks we are like brother and sister I felt way more when we kissed so I feel like we could be more. As I get reeled back into reality I look at the time and notice I've been daydreaming for about 30 min. It is now 11:30 so I decide to change into my pjs,brush my teeth, and get in bed.
