GMW MAYA'S REALIZIATION

Chapter 3

*2 hours later on the same day*
Farkle POV:
I was in my room getting ready to go to Maya's place to talk to her, when I realized I didn't have a plan or any written questions to ask her. I shrugged and figured I would wing it..... Thats right.....me THE Farkle Minkus is gonna wing something.....I already feel cool. Ok enough of me talking to myself in my thoughts time to go and sort out Maya's feelings.

Maya's POV:
Once I finished cleaning my room I sat on my bed and ran my hands through my hair from stress. My mom comes to my room and says "hey baby girl are you hungry?" "No" I reply solemnly "what's wrong?" She inquires, "it's nothing im just waitin for Farkle to come over so we can talk" I say. She arches her eyebrow and says "the Farkle? Why is everything ok?" "Yea don't worry about it mom" "ok sweetie well I'm heading out because I heard Shawn is coming soon to the Matthews and I wanted to get there before he did" "ok bye mom" "bye sweetheart". As soon as she left the house I started to hum a tune. As I sat there humming I started to dance to release some of the stress that started building up from waiting for Farkle. A couple of seconds later I started singing Outloud and next thing you know I hear a deep voice say, " wow Maya you're amazing" I freeze and Yelp at the same time from being scared. " geez Farkle you could've called or texted me you were outside the window or better yet knocked on the window" "I did all three of those but you couldn't hear me from all the dancing and singing your doing" he smirked. I roll my eyes and say "get in",
And I help him through the window and he ends up falling. I start to laugh hysterically until he gets up and says "are you done?" I hold my aching stomach and wipe away a tear and say, "yea yea I'm done". We then sit down on my bed and just stare into space...

Farkle's POV:
As we sit in silence I look Maya in the eye and say "Maya this doesn't have to be awkward, please just say something" she looks at me and smiles and says "something" I look at her and say "well I'm glad your sarcasm didn't waver" she looks at me with serious and sad eyes and says "Farkle how come everytime Riley expresses her feelings things go her way but when I express my feelings things tear apart....?" I look at her and respond in a sad tone "because that's just life Maya", "well life sucks" she responds. "I know, but Maya can you answer me this... How long have you liked Lucas?" She looks at me and runs a hand through her blonde curls and sighs and says "since the first time I ever saw him on the subway" I look at her intently and say,  " why didn't you tell Riley?" She looks at me like I asked the stupidest question in the world, but nevertheless she answered "because you know that whenever Riley had something set she will make everybody miserable about it until she gets it" "remember how Riley was before They ever even admitted their feelings to each other in the first place... She was a mess and was constantly asking questions on what to do" I shrugged and understood what she meant. This is all understandable, all her points were valid and seemed to make sense. She noticed I was in deep thought so she asked "Farkle is all this necessary?" "What do u mean?" I replied. "This" she replied waving her hands between us indicating our conversation. "Yes" I responded. "If you say so Minkus" she replied. I smiled and said "Maya why do you like Him?" She looked at me and shrugged and said "why wouldn't I? Why wouldn't anybody? He's nice,caring,loyal, and so much more.. Me and him always have our little banters and arguments about his accents and nicknames" I nodded and realized she was right, a girl would have to be blind and deaf at the same time not to have liked Lucas at one point during the school year. "Remember when the yearbook said me and Ranger Rick were voted cutest couple and stuff?" She asked. "Ofcourse I do..... Donny Barnes haunts me in my sleep" I chuckled. "Well that was the point where I dressed up like Riley and discovered that they see each other like brother and sist-" I cut her off "wait a minute.....you said you were pretending to be Riley and she is all open and bubbly right?" "Yea" she replied not knowing where this was going, "then wouldn't that be you speaking with Riley's personality? You're using her personality to reveal your own inner emotions" Maya's eyes widened at the realization that I was correct.

Maya's POV:
"Oh my gosh Farkle I think I have my feelings mixed up I guess while I had Riley's personality on me I revealed something in me but I blamed it on Riley.....so does that mean I don't like sun dance?" I questioned. He looked at me with uncertainty and said "well maybe i don't know I'm just going based on what happen, here tell me have you ever imagined actually kissing Lucas?" I blushed and said "Farkle!" He looked at me and said "answer Maya come on I'm your best friend" I look at him and nod. He then says "can you actually imagine having a life with him like marriage?" I have actually never did.... Huh..... But I have seen Riley creepily make a fake wedding towards Lucas when she thought I wasn't there, but to answer Farkle's questions I shook my head. Farkle then looked at me and says "now I want you to imagine and compare a life....in one imagine you are his wife.....in the other one imagine you are his sister" I close my eye and follow his directions. In my imaginations I noticed the dream of me being his sister actually seemed nicer and less awkward then the imagination of me and ranger Rick actually getting married. My eyes widen when I realized I have the answer I need. As I tune back into reality I see Farkle smiling saying "well?" I move towards him and give him the biggest hug ever. "Thank you" I mumble into his cotton shirt with the distinct smell of cologne lingering. "No problem" he replied
