Chapter 11

*ring ring*
Shawn's POV:
It was 7:30 am and me and Katy have been planning a romantic trip that will take up to 2 weeks tops. And really it was Maya's idea to make us go. Me and Katy didn't want to leave her but she insisted and we couldn't pass up the opportunity. So I was calling Corey before we leave to see if Maya could sleepover with Riley.

S:hey cor
C: Shawn Wat are you doing calling me at 7:30 am?
S: well I was gonna ask you if it was ok if Maya could sleepover with u guys for 2 weeks until me and Katy come back from our romantic weekend break
C: uh well me and Topanga are going to be gone for the whole 2 weeks also starting tomorrow because we were gonna visit my parents back in Philly. I was gonna ask you tomorrow if Riley could stay with you guys......
S: oh well do you think they could do fine on their own together?
C: i don't know.....what if they invite boys over........?
S: cor I'm not gonna lie to you im pretty sure cowboy is gonna go over to her everyday while your gone.
C: AAAAAAH shawnie!! Don't think like that or else it will happen!
S: yea I know
C: how would you like it if a guy kept coming over to Maya's place...alone...?
S:COR! It's only funny when it's on you !
C: YEAAA imagine it Shawn! Feel the pain I feel. Imagine Maya and some guy making out on the couch how does that feel?
S: AAAH Cor! I've seen it happen don't put the image in my head again!!
C:Wat?!
S:oops.......
C: oh your gonna tell me the story when we get back, this better be good.
S: bet that Riley and Lucas have already made out
C: okay let's not get crazy, anyway continue your packing you still gotta go I'll talk to Riley about the sleepover thing talk to u later!
S: bye cor!
C: bye shawnie

Maya's POV:
When I wake up I have no recognition how I got into my own bed. The last thing I remember is that I was with Farkle at his place. I continue to think about it as I get ready and head downstairs. I see Shawn and my mom with their suitcases and I remember about their romantic getaway week I recommended them. I went over to Shawn to ask him how I got home .
"Hey mom, hey Shawn!" I greet. "Hey baby girl how are you?" My mom asks. "Good, although I don't remember how I got home...." I reply. "Oh, Minkus did me a favor and carried you here" Shawn replied for me. I was touched that Farkle did that for me. I would have to pay him if you know what I mean....... Anyway I look at Shawn and he seemed a bit worried. "Shawn? You look worried are you ok?" I ask. "It's nothing, don't worry, uh Katy could you get our tickets from your purse?" Shawn asks. "Oh sure sweetie" my mom replies and she heads to her room to get her purse. "Ok listen here kiddo, I know your gonna head over to Minkus' place please Maya don't do anything you'll regret. And if you do could you please use protection?" I blushed from embarrassment and shock "Shawn! I'm not gonna do anything with Farkle come on!" I say. He raises his eyebrow skeptically and unconvinced. "Ok ok there's gonna be some making out but I promise you we won't go that far." He looks at me and squints his eyes and says "well just hang around with Riley and I'll allow Minkus to be there with you just don't let me find you pregnant" he says with a concerned voice "pfft it's not me you have to worry about it wasn't me and Farkle who were down each other's throats" I said rolling my eyes. My eyes widened at what I just revealed. Shawns eyes widened and he said "no way! I knew it! Don't worry I'm not gonna say anything" relief washed over my face. "Enough of you being stern with me let's change the roles.... I'd like to say to keep it at a r to m rated level when you get there ok? Try not to make babies while your with her" I say. Shawn blushes "Maya I am a full grown adult! And yea ok...." He says putting his head down. "We'll have fun!" I say and I wink to make Shawn squirm. It worked. He was blushing. My mom came out ready and took the suitcases to the car. "Oh Shawn before you go could you call my phone I can't find it" I ask. "Sure kiddo" he says as he dials my number. I go to my room and search and couldn't find it. I come back to see Shawn holding my phone with a blank expression. I go up to him and say "what's wrong?" He looks at me and says "you see me as a father?" I froze. I forgot about that. I blushed and looked down and played with a piece of my hair. "Umm it's just uhh if you don't see me as a daughter it's ok... I understand" just then Shawn engulfed me in a big hug and says "Ofcourse I see you as a daughter why else would I be protective of you?" I smile and say "ok well enough of this gushy stuff go on your vacation and I'll head to Riley's" "ok" he replies and with that he heads out the door. Once they are gone I call Riley and tell her I'm on my way in the background I hear 'Lucas hold on I'm talking to Maya we can finish this in a sec.' 'Fine' I heard in the background. I chuckled. Oh Riley my little plant has grown. I head over and knock on the door. No one answers. I try the door and it's still unlocked and I see Riley and Lucas once again down each other's throats making out on the couch. "Jeez you would think you would take a breather but nope" I say walking in. "Hi Maya" they say as they continue their make out session. I go straight to the kitchen and ask "Riley you got any cereal?" "Uhh... Ohh Lucas that feels amazing...oh um yea check the cabinet" she says. I smile and check the cabinet and see cereal. I grab Cinnamon Toast Crunch and pour myself a bowl and start eating. All I could hear where Riley and Lucas's moans and it made me feel awkward like i was intruding. "Riles could you stop sucking face with hop along and talk to me or something?" "Do I have to....?" Riley asked with Lucas kissing down her neck. "Ugh cowboy could you stop and take a breather? Jeez" now it was Riley who was kissing Lucas around his neck and jaw. "Nope this feels too good" Lucas replies. I roll my eyes and say "well I've lost my appetite"  I get up wash my bowl and head towards the door. "Goodbye riles" and with that I walked out the door. I headed over to Farkle's house. I got permission in by one of his butlers and when I arrived Farkle was working on something. I walked silently behind him and looked over his shoulder to see he was working on some computer tech stuff. I clear my throat and he jumps startled from my appearance. "Jeez Maya! You could have atleast said something when you walked in!" He said. "But then it wouldn't be fun" I replied smirking he rolled his eyes and sighed. He looked tired. "Hey are you ok?" I ask. He looked at me...."honestly?...no I'm tired and I have a big headache because I just can't finish this research on low brain activity. I need a test subject but I can't find one on such short notice and none of my family members have low brain activity." I nodded. Wait! I'm pretty sure I have low brain activity I think I can help! "Farkle u said low brain activity right?" I ask. "Yea....why?" He replies. "I'll be your test subject if you'd like" I offer. "Maya it's ok you don't have to do that for me....." "No it's ok I insist I have nothing else to do and it looks like your under a lot of stress...it's the least I can do." I say. He nods his head and drags me to a seat with a miniature touch screen tv next to it. He sits me down and connects wired to my forehead, temples, and cheekbones."are you sure Maya?" He asks one last time. "I'm sure" I reply. "Thanks Maya" he says. I nod. " ok so this hooks up to your brain activity and I'll be able to see what your thinking about when I mention certain things." I nod not really understanding what he's saying. "Ready?" He asks. "Yep" I say. "Ok.....science" I sat there thinking. "Woah..." I hear Farkle say and he writes something on his clipboard. "Food"......"eww Maya!" "What?" I ask. "You were at Riley's house and they were making out and u just sat there eating cereal? Your weird" he says. I smile. "School" "huh......." He writes something down. "Family....." He writes something down once again. "Last one........friends" he smiles and writes on his clipboard. "Farkle" he adds. My eyes widen in alert because he could see what I was thinking when I heard his name. "Farkle you can't do that!" I say. He smiles and says "too late" and winks. I roll my eyes. "Am I done yet?" I ask. "Nope" he replies. "Next thing is, I want you to take a test." "Uggggghhhhhh a test?!?" I groan. He hands me a tablet and gets me started. I take the test that included puzzles,analogies,and etc. I was honestly tired and bored but I let Farkle do his research. I finish the test and he prints out the result. He smiles and puts it in a file. "Last one babe" he says and leads me to the couch with a machine next to it. "Lay down" he instructs. I do as I was told and he hooks me up once again except including my arms and neck. Then he tells me "sleep" "don't have to tell me twice" I say and close my eyes and drift off. A while later or what I assume was a while later I was woken up by Farkle. He was jumping around in joy and seemed energized. "What's going on dr.farklestein?" I ask. "Maya you have made me the happiest guy in the world!!" "How?" I ask "you were sleeping like with a dreamy happy Riley face but there was NO brain activity whatsoever it's amazing!" He exclaims. "Glad I could help Farkle" he Unhooks my wires and sits on the couch with me. I look at him and say "you wanna watch a movie?" "Sure" he says. "You choose this time Farkle" he nods and chooses some sci-fi movie. Halfway through I notice Farkle fell asleep. I wouldn't blame him, we were practically cuddling and it felt really good. He was laying down on me and I was running my hand through his hair. "That tickles" he mumbles. I smile amused and looked at him. My eyes widen as I realize he was sleep talking. This was gonna be good. I started rubbing small circles on his check. He smiled and said "Maya that tickles.." I smile then I traced his lips and he parted his lips. I stared in amusement he giggled out "Maya not in public...!" I stifle a laugh. I placed a small kiss on his lips. "I....love you too..." He mumbles. My eyes popped out. He.....he loves me......? Love is such a strong word. Do I love him........? I........I don't know. I must have been gone for a while because next thing I know I see a hand was waving in front of my face. I shake my head and realize Farkle was staring at me "are you ok Maya?" He asks. I stare blankly at him. He loves me. He actually loves me. I couldnt risk letting him know what I heard. But I couldn't hold it in.... "YOU LOVE ME?!" I blurt out. His eyes widen and says "what.....?uh where did you hear that?!" He stutters. "You-you said in your sleep you love me" he turns red from embarrassment. "Uh Maya...I'm...I...uh....look if you don't feel the same way I understand" he says "but just know that I actually do love you and I don't regret it, I mean I wish I didn't say it right now in my sleep but I do....Maya I love you, I honestly don't know what I would do without you in my life, you make me happy, heck you just helped me out earlier today, I love our conversations, I love how we feel comfortable around each other, I love how we can tell each other everything, Maya I love everything about you, your eyes and how they sparkle when you smile, your dimples when you smile in general, you long blonde curly hair, I'm not gonna lie Maya but your body drives me insane, your short but I love that, your beautiful and your loyal and you care about people, gosh Maya I really am crazy for you, but I understand if you don't feel that way about me" he finishes with his head down. That was the most sweetest thing anyone has ever said about me. I couldn't believe he felt this way, I knew we liked each other but he took this to a whole other level. It was......sweet and adorable. I couldn't imagine a life without him either. I- I love him too..... I notice Farkle is waiting for my reaction. I walk over to him and say "I love you even more" he lets out his breath in relief "Farkle I can't imagine a life without you either.....you've been there for me since kindergarten and it means the world to me. You've been so loyal to me as well, and even though you constantly flirted with me I honestly liked it because I atleast had someone's attention. Farkle you've grown a lot and for the better I love the old and new Farkle no matter which Farkle you are.....you make me feel like I'm the most important thing in the world. I have to admit Farkle you've got muscles and it's eye candy when you take your shirt off at the pool and your hair Farkle it's just adorable I know it's not what guys wanna hear head but it really is. And I loved the way you used to say 'ladies' it drove me crazy. And to be honest the sound of you moaning when we made out was really attractive it turned me on, but anyway I do love you Farkle and I don't care what Riley and Lucas think" I finish off looking down blushing. Farkle lifted my head with his hands and he looked into my eyes and leaned in. I leaned in as a response closing the gap between us. We started kissing. This kiss was different it was filled with love. It was passionate and slow and satisfying. He put his hands around my waist and pulled me even closer to the point where I could smell his distinct cologne. I loved it. "Farkle your cologne also drives me insane" I mumble. He smiles and says "I was gonna say something that was driving me crazy but that wouldn't be expected of me" I smirk and say "oh does Farkle have a perverted side too?" He smirks and says "maybe......" We chuckle and lean back in. Right before our lips touched I slowly backed away. He pouted. "Wh-what why??" He exclaims. I smirked and said "who told you I was easy?" He smirked and said "oh is that how it is?" I nodded and started running.
