A/N: I don't think Luna, Nigel, and Stewart will be making an appearance in this chapter either. Ready? Let's go!

Disclaimer: Well, you see, I'm not a brilliant UK writer that can change the world with one book. So I only own my plot and OCs.

Dean and Ron kissed, Dean supporting Ron as he melted into his touch.

"We can't be public Ron, not until the catch the Slytherin that hurt Blaise, okay?"

"I know... I'm scared, Dean."

"Don't be. Just tell Harry, and I'll tell Seamus. Ginny will tell Hermione. Everything will be okay Ron." Dean hugged the boy closer to him, and then let go.

"Let's get to Kings Cross." Dean grabbed his trunk. "You side-along Ginny. Let's go."

Dean turned on the spot and disapparated. Ron sighed and went to collect Ginny.

He didn't want to have to pretend, but it was for their safety. He thought of Dean being attacked and his mind flicked back to his nightmare.

No, he couldn't handle it if Dean were to be attacked.

-----------------------------------------
Harry, Seamus, Blaise, Dalton, and Ethan were all sitting on the same side of the compartment. It was very, very cramped.

Ethan was probably the most uncomfortable, lover boys on either side of him.

"So Ethan sen' me a letter for Christmas." Seamus grinned down at Ethan. "Have you told them what you told me?"

"No." Ethan smiled.

"Told them what?" Harry was looking between the two boys, a questioning glint in his eye.

"Nothin'" Seamus grinned at Dalton and then back at Ethan.

-----------------------------------------

Dean, Ginny, and Ron passed through the barrier to platform 9 3/4 just in time to get on the train.

"Dean, can you take my trunk? I need to go tell the prefects what to do. I'll find you guys later." Ron held out his shrunk trunk.

"Sure, have fun." Dean grinned, taking the trunk and stuffing it in his pocket.

They made their way through the train and found the lopsided compartment, already holding the five boys. Dean sighed and opened the door, only to be run over by Ethan.

"Ginny! Save me. Dalton and Blaise haven't stopped being lovey dovey once; not one time!" Ethan shook his voice into a state of mock desperation.

Everyone laughed, and Ginny hugged Ethan back. They'd grown close through their correspondence. Both of them were excited for the first Hogsmeade weekend.

Dean looked to Seamus and waited for him to meet his eyes.

"I need to talk to you, Shay." Dean japped a thumb at the door, alone.

Just outside the compartment, Dean and Seamus felt eyes on them coming from inside the room. Dean leant into Seamus and whispered.

"Ron and I are a couple. Ginny's telling Hermione and Ron's telling Harry." Seamus looked surprised, and he was beaming at Dean. It was actually deep enough to frighten Dean a bit. "Merlin! Seamus stop looking at me like that!"
