A/N: This is the first 4000+ word chapter. I'm going to cover December 1st and 2nd here, and then skip to Christmas Break next chapter. Currently, I have 12 main characters that I write with, and I'll be adding the final 13th this chapter. Then I'll hopefully have all of the 'main' characters I need.

Disclaimer: wow, its been almost 3 hours since I wrote my last disclaimer stating that I was not JKR. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that I haven't in that time transformed into a literary goddess.

Blaise was walking down the second floor corridor when it happened, only hours after going public with Dalton

He was punched in the side if the head and lost all balance, crashing to the floor.

"Fucking fags. You act high and mighty, and the same as everyone else. Traitor." A familiar voice spat above him, Blaise tried to look up to see his face. He caught the green of the Slytherin crest before he was hit again. He felt his nose break when the Slytherin kicked his face.

"You. Don't. Deserve. To. Be. A. Wizard." Each word was punctuated to a kick in the ribs, or a kick in the face.

"You're not worth the time of day. Know your place, pouf." The Slytherin walked away after one more sharp kick to the ribs. Blaise heard a gasp and a shriek before the world faded to black.

-----------------------------------------

Ginny rushed over to Blaise's limp form.

"What do I do, what do I do?" She whispered. Ginny got up, took a deep breath, and focused on her happiest memory. The day she kissed Harry.

"Expecto Patronum!" She cast a silver message to Seamus, and bent back down to Blaise, trying to stem the bleeding.

-----------------------------------------

Seamus laid on the common room couch, chatting with Ethan.

"So how goes your progress with Episkey?" He looked over to the smaller boy and his twin.

"Still only good with surface injuries, I have used the visualization to help my other spells though." He grinned at Seamus. "Thanks for helping me with it."

"He's right, it has helped him. He used to be abysmal at Transfiguration. Now he's the best in our year. McGonagall had to make sure he wasn't cheating." Dalton laughed.

"Well you're welcome. I'm glad it's helping you." Seamus yawned, he got up and stretched.

Suddenly, a silvery, ghostlike horse bounded through the wall and faced Seamus. It opened its mouth and became a white orb. Ginny's voice erupted.
