Chap 9 "Finding Information"

Bailey's POV
Natalie and Antonio left as I walked outside to watch Jayden. He put his bamboo sword down as he grabbed his water bottle. "Hey," I shared a small smiled.
"What's wrong?" Jayden asked as we sat down on the steps. "You don't seen fine."
"There's something wrong with Alexis," I sighed. My phone vibrated and I had gotten a text from Natalie saying find out everything you can about Alexis and her past. use the car and drive to Miami if you have to. Something just isn't right about her. "Natalie and I notice it. She's not the same person."
"Well, who can we go to and find out this information?" Jayden asked.
"I'm dating someone who can tell me about her past," I looked at Jayden.
"No, I can't," Jayden stood up.
"Why not?" I asked as I stood up as well. "She's my sister, Jayden. You are the leader of this team. You must know something about her past even if it is only about the rangers."
"You don't understand. The people who know this information could get hurt. People like you get hurt because of the nighloks. We're the only ones who can defeat them."
"Jayden, you have to tell me even if you don't want to. There's something seriously wrong with Alexis. I think she lost track of time being down in Hell. Now, I was completely honest with you. Why can't you do the same for me?"
"Okay, Bailey. Just, let's sit down."
"Just tell me."
"A long time ago, our ancestors seal up Master Xandred. The Sansui river had flooded bringing him back. Since then, we've been training. I've been doing this since I was five years old. Once Alexis' mom found out that she had to take the role of the pink ranger, her mom took her away from here. We had to bring Mia in to replace her because Mia was capable to join the team. But Alexis had found her mom's morpher and called my dad's morpher. Since then, Alexis had been secretly training with Mentor. She's been ready since she was seventeen but she never came to Tampa. We let her stay here when she's passing through. I don't know if she'll want to be a ranger. If she wants to, she can, relieving Mia of her duties."
"So Alexis has always been a Samurai ranger?"
"From the day she was born."
"Do you want to take a ride to Miami with me?"
"Sure," Jayden nodded. "Just let me change."
"Alright," I sighed. Jayden went inside to his room. I walked inside and grabbed the keys from Natalie's jacket. I got into the car and started it. Jayden got in and I started driving. "I have to find out more about Alexis' past." We got to Miami and I drove to the police department. "Are you coming in with me?"
"Bailey, why are we at a police station?"
"Because, one of Alexis' friends work here and I can get information from him."
"Are you sure Alexis is fine with you prying into her past?"
"I'm sure she doing mind," I nodded.
We walked into the police station and a blonde stopped us. "How can I help you?" she asked.
"I'm here to speak with Detective Mike Lawry," I sighed.
"Somebody asking for me?" Mike stopped. I showed him the FBI badge I had. "Right, Agent Brady." I nodded and put my badge away. "It's alright, Stella." She nodded and we followed Mike to a conference room. "Why are you here?"
"I know you're smart, Mike," I looked at him. "Tell me what you know about Alexis' past."
"Well, she came to Miami when she was only eighteen years old on a vacation. Me and her hooked up every now and then but it wasn't anything serious. Just for coffee or lunch. We didn't have sex, just to clear that up. Uh, I know about her hunting stuff and the fake authority badges but that's about it. Oh, and she's a great cook."
"Thanks," I nodded.
"Had something happened to her?" Mike asked.
"No," I nodded. "Just, she's different." Jayden and I left the station and got back into the car. I drove us to Tej's Garage. "Wanna come as well?" Jayden followed me into the garage. I pulled Dom and Brian to the sighed. "I need your help." Brian and Dom looked at each other. "It deals with Alexis."
"What's wrong?" Dom asked.
"Well, I'm going assume you know the hunting part of her," I sighed. Dom and Brian nodded. "Well, a month ago she married Crowley, who I know as The King of Hell."
"Why?" Brian asked.
"It was a case and Dean gave away her hand when it wasn't his to give," I nodded. "Just, have you noticed anything different about her?"
"Other than she took the car without telling us or saying hi like usual?" Brian shrugged. "She's perfectly fine to me. At least she got her car back."
"Thank you," I nodded. "They helped a lot." We got back into the car and I started driving. "I think I figured out what's wrong with Alexis."
"And that is?" Jayden asked.
"Alexis, she doesn't..."
