Natalie's POV
Mike walked out of the resting room, smiling. "Why are you smiling?" I asked.
"Because you're going to have the privilege of planning our wedding," Mike smiled. We were all confused. "She said yes!"
"Oh, that's just great," Bailey sighed.
"You're lying," I looked at him.
"If you think I'm lying, be my guest," Mike pointed at the room.
"Yeah," I nodded. I grabbed Bailey's wrist and pulled her into the room with me. I closed the door. "Uhm, Alexis?"
"Yes?" Alexis asked as she took a sip of her tea that Mentor Ji made her.
"Are you and Mike getting married?" I asked.
"Yeah," Alexis nodded. She held out her left hand and showed us the ring. "Why?" Bailey and I exchanged glances. "You guys thought he was lying?"
"Yeah," Bailey nodded. "Alexis, you're only twenty two."
"Three," Alexis corrected. "It's a little past midnight."
"It's her birthday," I sighed. "She's twenty three."
"Yeah, and remember when I said I wanted to be married by at least twenty four?" Alexis asked. We nodded. "That's finally going to happen for me."
"Let's just all get some sleep and we'll talk more about it when you're well rested," I nodded. Bailey and I walked out of the room and turned out the light as Alexis try to fall asleep. "Well, you guys are getting married." I nodded. "You guys are serious about it."
"Yeah," Mike smiled. Two days passed and Alexis still hasn't woken up. We couldn't find any possible reason wrong. I grabbed a bowl of warm water from the kitchen and a washcloth. "Has she woken up?"
"No," I nodded. "Come on." Mike grabbed a glass of water and went to see her in the room. I gently dabbed her face. Alexis started sighing. "Alexis?"
"Alex?" Mike asked. "Hey! Alexis is awake!"
I helped her sit up by using her pillows. Everyone came rushing in. "Sorry guys," Alexis sighed. "I let him get me."
"Him?" a deep voice came from the doorway.
"You told Dom and Brian?" Alexis asked.
"Alexis, we had no idea what was wrong with you and now I think I know why," Bailey sighed. "Was it Death or Reaper?"
"Reaper," Alexis sighed. "It was the nighlok too."
"We're just glad you're okay," Mike smiled as he handed her the glass of water.
"Thanks for putting on the brave faces for me," Alexis nodded. "But I know I'm not okay. I feel empty, inside."
"Don't worry," Emily nodded. "We'll figure it out."
"We're not going to let you down," Jayden nodded. "We'll save you."
"Thanks guys," Alexis softly smiled.
"At least your arm healed," I sighed.
"Yeah," Alexis looked at her arm. She took off her covers and got out of bed to stretch. "Much better."
"You sure you're feeling alright?" I asked.
"Yes," Alexis smiled. "Now, I have to go and get ready so we can find people to invite."
"What?" Mike asked as Alexis left the room. "What is she talking about?"
"Oh, the joys of getting married," I smiled as I looked at Mike. "You guys got a year to plan and she already wants a guest list."
"Who's getting married" Brian asked.
"Alexis and Mike," Bailey nodded. "On her birthday."
"And we're just now hearing about it?" Dom asked.
Well, we haven't really told anyone since she was in a mini coma," Mike explained. "Now, we're going to start telling people."
"Okay," Alexis smiled a she walked in wearing white shorts, a green and white chevron tank top, and silver sandals. "Let's go make our list.""Don't forget to save a date," I smiled.
"My birthday," Alexis smiled. "My birthday lands on a Saturday next year."
"You're going to have your wedding on her birthday?" I asked.
"Either mine or hers," Mike nodded. "Are you ready to go?"
"Yeah," Alexis smiled.
"Have fun," I smiled as they left. "Alright, so Mike is going to keep her occupied till seven. We have till then to have this place cleaned up and decorated for Alexis' birthday party."
"Her birthday was two days ago," Dom raised a brow.
"Yeah, but she was in a coma," I replied.
"Okay, so, what are our duties?" Antonio asked. "I'm ready!"
"I'll make a cake," Mia smiled and left the room.
"Bailey and I are gong to pick up a cake so can someone make sure that one doesn't turn out to be what she wants it to be?" I asked. "I had the one at the restaurant ordered and decorated."
"I will," Brian replied. "I know exactly what to do."
"Thanks," I nodded. "Bailey and I will get the cake."
"Got it," Bailey nodded.
"I need Jayden to go to the store and get decorations so we can decorate the place," I smiled. I looked at Everyone. "Antonio, I need you to go buy paper lanterns."
"Me gusta," Antonio smiled and left.
"I hope he would find the right ones instead of saying me gusta," I sighed. "Alright. If you have a task, please left the room." I had Kevin, Emily, and Mentor left. "You two hang tight till Jayden gets back with the decorations. Mentor, can you help decorate?" He nodded as Dom walked in. "Dom, do you have a problem with making Alexis a huge metal card?"
"How huge?" Dom asked.
"Not too big," I replied. "I'll send you everybody's signature."
"I got it," Dome held up a piece of paper. "I'll get to work."
"You have ten hours, since it's nine," I called as he left. "Okay, let's get to work." Bailey followed me to see how everyone was setting up the common room. Jayden came back with the decorations and everyone joined in. "Okay. Rangers, don't go anywhere unless that alarm rings."
"You pretty much have everyone working," Kevin replied. Antonio came back with the paper lanterns. We lined them outside to light a path. After a few hours, we got done decorating, but something was burning. "Looks like Mia overcooked something."
"It's already one," Bailey sighed.
We walked into the kitchen. "What's going on in here?" I asked.
"It took me four hours to get this ready and it burned," Mia sighed. "I'll have to try again."
"Mia, don't," I stopped her. "Brian, go and help see if anything else needs to be done." Brian nodded and left. "Mia, it's okay. You don't have time. Just clean all this up and go help the others decorate. I'll pick up a cake."
"I'm sorry," Mia sighed. "It was going to be a strawberry cake."
"It's alright," Bailey replied.
"Let's go pick up the cake," I nodded. "Bailey, you good?" She nodded as we left the house. We started walking. "Are you sure you're okay?"
"No," Bailey sighed.
"What's wrong?" I looked at her. "Did Jayden hurt you?"
"No," Bailey quickly replied. "No, he didn't."
I got the cake from the restaurant. "Then what's wrong?" I wanted to kill time so we went to the park. "Bailey you can trust me."
"But this hasn't happened to you. How can I tell you?"
"I'm two years older and you're twenty. I'm pretty sure I would know about what you're talking about."
"Okay. Nat, I'm --" A blast cut her off, that hit right next to the patch of grass to my left. "What was that?"
I looked around our close surroundings and spotted it. "Nighlok," I replied. I handed the cake to Bailey. "Get out of here. I can take care of this." Bailey ran off with the cake. "Okay."
