Back in the woods at the Beast's Mansion:

Levy, with the help of Ms. Carla, a teapot and Wendy, the teacup, fits on an orange dress that poofs out at the skirt and lands just below her knees. She approaches the dining hall, not sure why she is so nervous. Palms sweating Levy pushes open the door that leads down to the ballroom floor. The beast just blushes and stares at the descending beauty.

Levy hates the formality of the meal inside. She has never been one for tradition, so when she finishes her meal in silence, she heads outside to the balcony. With no comment made the Beast just follows behind. The two figures sit on a bench surprisingly close, and watch all the stars twinkling above.

"What's your name?" Levy asks the silent beast

"Hmm Shrimp? I'm Gajeel, Gajeel Redfox,"

"MY NAME IS NOT SHRIMP!" Levy says hitting Gajeel's arm only to find it made of solid metal, "ouch," she complains

"Gihi," replies Gajeel.

"Why are you cursed Gajeel?" Levy asks staring up at the sky. The beast sitting next to her growls under his breath and starts on a long story.

"The rest of the people in this castle used to be part of a dark kingdom, the kingdom of Phantom Lord. We had previously waged war on this kingdom of Fairy Tail, but were quickly defeated by a lady so powerful all us warriors had to fear her. I will never forget the lady who cursed all of us, I think Mavis was her name, Mavis Vermillion. I was an elite warrior along with my comrades Rainwoman Juvia, Windwalker Aria, Totomaru, and Sol, we were all cursed differently. My sisters Wendy and Carla, my brother Pantherlily, and I were cursed so that only when I had found true love would we turn back into human form, and I would be released from this curse," Gajeel finishes looking down at short Levy's fascinated face.

"Oh I hope that all of you can lead happy lives once your curse is broken," Levy says thoughtfully staring at the beast. She knew she had fallen for this beast, and a blush broke out on her face.

"Shrimp, what about your story? How did you find yourself here?" Gajeel asks

"Again my name is not Shrimp, it's LEVY! And my story isn't as dramatic as yours. King Jude has always grown up with my father, Captain McGarden, and they've been the closest of friends. I have always grown up next to my closest friend Lu-chan, she's the Princess. After my father disappeared looking to vanquish you, I decided it was up to me to kill you and bring my father home," Levy finishes. "only to find that instead of killing you, I'd be falling for you," she thinks to herself.

"Gihi," Gajeel and Levy sit in silence, a nice peaceful silence, not the awkward kind. They both just sit and enjoy each other's company. Levy slowly drifts off to sleep on Gajeel's arm. "From the moment you kicked down the door, I have always known how hard I fell for you, Levy." Gajeel tells a sleeping Levy. He picks the petite girl up and carries her to her room where he sets her down. "Goodnight Shrimp,"
