Chapter 9: Erza so Scary

As the wedding commences Gajeel and Levy arrive, Carla and Pantherlily, Lucy and Gray, and finally Erza arrives. The music starts to play and the ceremony begins. Timeskip after wedding...

It was the wedding after party and everyone was celebrating. The newly wedded couple started dancing, more like Erza spinning Jellal around and him getting sick. People started joining in the festivities.
"Lucy would you care to dance?" Gray asked humorously.
"Eh why not!" There wasn't anything romantic at all about it, it was just two friends having an awesome time together. Gray took Lucy's hand and they danced through three songs when a roar was to be heard throughout the ballroom. Everybody stopped and stared at where the roar came from. A very jealous pink haired white scarfed boy/dragon standing at the entrance to the hall. He immediately grabbed Lucy away from Gray and tugged her out of the room.
"Natsu? What's going on? I wasn't being hurt or anything!" Lucy whines to Natsu who won't even look down at her
"Luce why do you do this to me? The time I come back to visit you and only you do I see you dancing with another guy!"
"Natsu don't get so worked up, he's just a friend and this is a wedding we were supposed to be dancing!" Lucy reasons
"Luceeee that's not the point. Whenever I think or see you enjoying another guy's company, I get all mad and I want to set something on fire!"
"Natsu, are you jealous?" Lucy hides a laugh. There's no way that a dragon could fall in love with a human right?
"What's "jealous" Luce?" Natsu asks cluelessly
"Being jealous is when you really like something or someone so much that you are angry when they are with another," Lucy explains. Natsu looks deep in thought when the doors to the ballroom burst open and Gray walks out.
"Oi Lucy, wanna go back and enjoy Erza's wedding a bit?" Gray asks. Lucy starts walking back towards the doors
"Of course Gray, Natsu you could come in too, as long as you don't burn anything up," Lucy offers. Inside the ballroom Lucy takes Gray's hand again and drags him onto the ballroom floor. Suddenly Natsu bumps Gray to the side and takes Lucy by the hands. Lucy only giggles
slightly. Gray gets up and pushes Natsu away from Lucy.
"Watch who you're pushing around flame brain!"
"Look who's talking squinty eyes,"
"At least I don't have droopy eyes like you!"
"You wanna go?"
"Yeah right here right now, let's fight!"
"DO I HEAR FIGHTING AT MY WEDDING?!" An angry looking Erza with a murderous aura approaches the two boys. They both shake their heads violently and hug each other
"No Erza we were just kidding!"
"Yeah we're best friends!"
"It's good to see you two getting along!" Erza says totally fooled by their act. They sigh in relief as Erza leaves.
"but seriously Ice-Breath if you dare lay a finger on Lucy I will personally burn you to ash!" Natsu says in a low tone to Gray
"She's not yours you know. Any boy could ask Lucy to be his and you wouldn't have the right to say that anymore," Gray replies back. Natsu contains his anger at this statement because Gray was right. Any boy could ask Lucy to be his and Natsu wouldn't have a say in any of it. "I guess this is jealousy," Natsu told himself. After the festivities ended everyone went home.

On the walk back to her apartment Lucy stood in between Gray and Natsu to keep them from fighting. As they approached the two buildings Lucy said goodbye to Gray and welcomed Natsu in. Sitting at the table across from Natsu Lucy asks
"So Natsu why did you visit back here so early?"
"Well I heard there was going to be a wedding and I thought it might be your wedding to that Jellal guy. I just wanted to make sure you were happy," Natsu admits
"Aww that's sweet Natsu, but you did show up a little late for that," Lucy giggles making Natsu pout, and blush a little.
"I'll make sure to visit earlier next time then," Natsu resolves
"You don't have anywhere to stay tonight do you? You could sleep here in my bed, I'll sleep on the couch, but only for tonight!"
"Sounds great Luce, but I'm starving could you. please make me something to eat?"
"Fine."
