Chapter 9: Lost & Found (Sollen Point Of View)

Its been three weeks (dog years since Brent has left and its KILLING ME! I only had him for a little bit and all of a sudden he's gone. But Cali said that he howls every night and every morning she tells me what he said like today,

"Run and run. I'm seen but not heard. Every moment I'm not sure were to go. I can't keep going but I have to run."

"What does that mean" it came out more of a demand then question

"Not sure maybe he's in trouble?"

"Then why didn't he make that more clear?"

"I can't answer every thing" I looked down

"I know" Cali shot her head to the end of the cave were Midnight and Carmel were, emphasize on WERE, sleeping. I slowly looked that way to see them whinnying their heads off!

"MOM! MOM! MOM!" even though I am only a day older than them, I am smarter, stronger, braver, and less annoying then them, I guess its because I had to learn more to be able to 'hear'.

"What" Cali groaned

"Hunger!" They said it at the same time, oh, also they are greedy, they also don't know any grammar.

"Coming" she sighed and went out for hunting but I stopped her,

"I'll go" its hard for me to hunt but I try plus I have to take responsibility because Cali gonna have puppies! It turns out she was pregnant with one pup! I know little amount of puppies for a wolf but trust me Cali heard its beating heart for herself its there!

"No. Its to hard for you to hunt"

"No its alright I've learned some new techniques for hunting" No I didn't

"I don't believe you"

"You'll believe when I come back with a meal" She sighed

"OK but don't be long!" Yah! It normally takes hours for her to give in YES!

"I won't!" And with that i ran out the den entrance and out to the woods. I took a few minutes to enjoy the woods, I don't know why but every time I go out here I feel like it is my first time. OK so maybe I learned a few new tricks on hunting OK see this is what I do.

I lay on the ground with my head on the side while my body is ready to stand up at any moment. I hold my breath and feel if any animals are around. I could even feel the heart beat if a squirrel doing that ITS COOL! I felt something very large, maybe its a hog. I ran towards that way only to not find it gone. I listened again only to find that its behind me. I quickly turned around and saw a wolf well I think it was a wolf, it was bigger then ever. Bigger then Brent, bigger then dad, bigger then a hog. He had golden fur, but his face was white. He had blue eyes and a pink nose. Also he was very strong. He was beautiful. But something told me he's not safe so I ran as fast as I could but he can obviously run faster. I was face to face with him again when I blacked out.

~Two Days Later~

I barely open eyes to see bars. I doze off then dreamed about nothing. Wait BARS?!?!?!?!? I shot my eyes open and ran to the bars. I was in a prison? But why? How? Out side the bars was more and more cages and bars. It was scary, plus there was dogs in each one of these bars 'n' cages. I felt vibrations in the air near me so I knew that a wolf or dog was talking, but I deiced to rather panic then to listen to someone.

Next thing I knew, a dog was on top of me, he was a German Shepherd but his eyes were foggy. I read

"Were you listening to me it like your in a new world or something!"

"Because I am now GET OFF!" I deiced that I wouldn't tell him I'm deaf

"Fine" He got off

"Whats your name?"
